Rise and Shine! What are you doing today?

Good Sunday morning everyone!

Yippie!  I lost another pound and it sure gets harder the further into this journey.  I really work for each pound now.

I miss my son, but he stopped by to get some clothes the other day and he kissed me good bye so I don't think he is upset that his father kicked him out.  Maybe it was for the best.  I still worry about him.

The snow has stopped here and the temps have made all the snow melt.  My back yard is a muddy mess.  My dogs go out and I have to wipe their paws.   Total that is 16 paws all together..lol..  What a job.   They know the routine.  First off to the utility room and then the paw wiping begins.  They are all good boys.

I wanted to try to post each one of their pics but had a hard time with the avatar.  Doubt this one worked.  I will see when I post.

I hope everyone has a great day.  Going to go see my dad today.
Spent most of the day crocheting because my knee hurt so much.  Held ice on it for hours.  It seemed to be a little better last night when I went to bed.  Oh the signs of aging!  I have to keep myself positive about it.  Afterall, there are a lot of young men who like older women..  SHOW ME  WHERE!!!!!!!!!

God Bless

Good morning.  I have been working all night.  Will be leaving in 45 minutes.  Will go home and get some sleep, but I will be

getting up to watch my J E T S, Jets, Jets, Jets.

Then, it will be back to work for another 10 hour shift.  That will give me my 19 hours OT for the week.  Next week will just be 15 hours OT.  The following week I will take one night off.  Then a couple of weeks later there is rumor there will be unlimited OT again.  I already figured how I can work at least 25 hours OT that week.  Get it while I can.

Hope you all have a good day.  I will be skipping church today, otherwise I will be sleeping in the pew instead of in my bed.

Later.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

any news about what will happen with your job since the company was sold? I might have missed it if you already posted it, if you have, sorry.

We do not expect to know anything for another six months or so.  The sale has to be approved by the SEC, then we will be told things.  I am hoping they keep all of us, but I am realistic enough to know that may not happen.  I have updated my resume, but I am not putting it out there yet.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

good morning

things here are about the same, im tired and overwhelmed with this caregiver
role.  it sure is not easy.  im wondering how much longer i will be able to go
into work even for the few hours im working.

my son is coming today to spend some time with dad, so i can get a few other
things done, hopefully.

hugs to all in need, i do try and read the posts most days, even when i dont
post myself.

Jacki:

I can so relate to being overwhelmed with the caregiver role.  It is as difficult for the "patient".

Often, communities have support groups for caregivers.  You might want to check to see if there is something like that available in your area.

I wish you and yours the best.

Jacki.
With respite care you dont  have to leave to go anywhere,  You can stay home if you wish.    You can sleep take a long bath  or what ever you wish.   The respite care giver is there to take responsibility for a few hrs.
