What's New- Saturday
Good morning everyone.
I'm sending well wishes and prayers to all who need them.
Pat, glad you're feeling better.
I'm still sooooo tired. Can't believe something so small as a parathyroid could cause me so many problems.
Today is my mom's 80th birthday party... WHOOO EEEE!!! She's been hinting and pushing my sister, brother and myself to have this party since summer. Its finally here and all I want to do is take a nap.
Ah well ...should be fun...she had us send out invitations and then invited everyone and anyone she sees!!!

Good Morning, All
I have an exciting weekend planned.
First, I'm going to clean all the litter boxes, then go to the pet store to pick up 4 bags of litter, and I'll refill them all!
Then, I'm going to go back into the basement and scrub the mildew off the walls!
Then I'll scrub the basement floor and turn on the fans to dry it out!
Then I'll try to get a life........

Julia, I hope your fence gets put up quickly. Very nerve wracking when you have an old dog to protect from three terrorist dogs!
I am still in Santa Cruz with my three little ones.....and it's Saturday so they will be home all day...oh my. Right now they are all cuddled into their mom and dad's big bed watching cartoons. This gives me a few minutes to chat.
It has been really special to spend this time with my grands. We have our moments of "bad tutu, bad boys" but mostly we have good hugs, laughing at flashlights under the covers, etc. It has been a long time since my sons were little, and I forgot how much there is to do. For sure, there is a reason why we have our babies when we are young!
I had to call my son in Montana this morning because I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to play with their Direct TV remotes in the bedroom. I'm sure he thought some tragedy has happened, and was relieved when it was only tech problem....Ha. They will be home tomorrow night, and it will be nice to share the parenting again.
So many of your posts I want to respond to, but don't have the time. But I so hope that each and every one of you has a good day.

Hi Julia and my OFF family:
I signed my severance package yesterday and was feeling kinda bummed out ... but then I had the night from hell, so now they can't get me out of there fast enough. I won't say anything disparaging about the company because legally I can't. But I wasn't happy working last night. I didn't have anything to do until midnight ... I proofed everyone's pages on the news desk because I was bored, and I was in so much pain from my knee and my back while I waited for my stories. And they were late because the Kalamazoo reporters were late. So we missed deadline. Then I went out for a beer with coworkers. We didn't close out the bar this time, basically because I was in too much pain and wanted to get home.
So now I'm down to one night and two weeks ... and next week is a four-day week.
Well, that's about all for now. It's gloomy out, so that fits my mood. Wish I could stay home. Still in pain and not in the mood to go to work.
Anyway, enough whining. Have a good day.
