Finally Friday!
I've been up since before 5:00 and didn't want to start two threads. It was surprising that it took so long for someone to get it going! We have so many early birds around here.
Going to work today, but I'd rather stay home and be lazy. But, the lights need to keep burning, and I'm very fond of eating, so I guess it's off to work for me. That's about all there is to my day, so no point going on about nothing....lol
Margo, GREAT to see you! Sorry you were so uncomfortable last night. Hopefully Micky D's is warm and toasty!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am going to be busy. Going to take out my art teacher for lunch since her birthday is Sunday. She is the one who lost her husband just before Thanksgiving.
Have to stop at Walmart and do some other running around.
I will have to come later this evening to read what's going on in everyone elses' life.

I know just what you mean, Laureen and Margo - we made it to Friday.
Next week starts my official return to working 4 days per week (32 hours) - a cut in pay that will hurt. Michael's self-employed and business has been way down this year, and medical costs way up, so it's tough right now on the budget. Join the crowd, eh? Still, it will be nice to have Mondays off, at least until a new project comes along and increases my hours! And I still get benefits, so I'm grateful for that.
We are establishing a routine with dialysis. I take him there at 6:00, go to work (across the twin cities from Minneapolis to St. Paul). Work for several hours and then go get him and take him home. Then back to work for the rest of the day. It's tough, but it's working out.
This weekend I haven't much scheduled - just coffee Sat. morning with WLS group and a haircut and color on Sunday. Fine with me! The weather is supposed to be lousy.

It's chilly and my feet are cold - lol
I changed my Avatar and it turned out very wide -- not too computer savvy when it comes to this kind of thing, but at least I tried.
We don't have any plans this weekend, but I'm hoping to get some cleaning done and maybe DH and I can spend some quality time together since they are not having band practice.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Prayers being uplifted for everyone for good health, peace, and happiness.

Hi Laureen and my OFF family:
Didn't sleep all that well last night. Went to sleep right away but got up coughing and had to take a cough drop, read for a while before I could get back to sleep. Yucky cough drop taste in my mouth all morning ... eecch! Had a weird dream about my dad and one of our photographers at work ... I usually dream about my dad when I'm troubled, but the photographer ... now that's odd.
Got the payroll deduction stuff straightened out. Seems the bankruptcy trustee never sent the letter, so payroll contacted the attorney and they faxed the letter to them. So next week I should get a full paycheck. I thanked the payroll person for working it out and apologized for getting huffy, but I shouldn't have to go through this. I had the letter and it showed it was sent to the Press ... but then it wasn't ... or it got lost. Who knows? I should have walked it over there, but then I'm not there during the day.
Two more days and two more weeks of work, and next week will be a four-day week, because I get my birthday holiday off.
