Hi All,

Finally Friday, thank goodness, I have been busy and lots going on, no time for details now, but figured I would start the thread seeing as it's 7:20 and no else has, besides it assures me hearing all about you and your lives!

Wishing you all a good day and the strength to carry on despite the live challenges you may have to deal with today!  I'll hopefully get a chance to check in later. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Laureen and everyone who follows,

It's been a rough go the last couple of days.  My DH swallowed his crown (!) and then my computer crashed.  Right now I'm using the family computer and since we all share it, my ability to post regularly will become even more ... what's the word?  Unreliable?  Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a fantastic Friday!

Hi Laureen and OFF family,

Yesterday afternoon was a shocker for me. Remember Lacey, a young woman who just had RNY 1/12/10? Well her dad died unexpectedly 2 days ago, only 43 yrs. old. He also had RNY revision about 7 mths. ago. I'm sure it was a heart attack or stroke. Please keep Lacey and her family in your prayers. I'm also close to Lacey's mom, she works here in the hospital doing payroll. I had Lacey's dad all hepped up on coming to our support group and getting back on track so Lacey could have a stronger support system and her dad was going to do this. He was at Lacey's side all day while she was here in the hospital. He also took care of her during the day while her boyfriend was at work when she was discharged.

Embrace life, you never know how long we have on this earth. This is a very close family and they will find peace with Mike's passing....but he was so young. I told Lacey she sure was lucky to have a dad that loved her so much. I'll be there for her but she was having a harder time post op than most. At first they thought she had a leak (she didn't) and she had a hard time with the anesthesia post op. I must admit, I had a glass of wine to relax last night and I'm not a drinker...but it helped me.

On a lighter note my stepdaughter bought a beautiful wedding gown at David's for $99.00! I want her fast put together wedding as special as she is. It just will be about 25 people there at the church in Whitehall where fiance's is a member. Getting married on a Friday evening makes it easier to get the church. She is marrying her soul mate and he is wonderful man.

I know.  Trying to do a new Avatar is hard in my opinion.
And boy, do I know the turkey gobbler!  I keep pulling mine sideways and it sure improves my looks!
Lol
It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...
