Mornin' Cap'tan & fellow crew mates!

Here I am up early for me...for some reason, no matter how TIRED I am at the end of the day, I cannot seem to sleep more than four hours..what's with that? This is something new for me. I make sure that I am not having a rumbly tummy before I lay down so it can't be hunger.

This is my plan for Friday:

B    hot chocolate protein drink

S    hot chocolate protein drink before heading off into the city to go swimming

L    taking cheese & crackers in the car with me since I won't be going straight home but have to run errands and visit Mother.

S    hot choclate protein drink when I get home

D    homemade tomato /beef/veg soup

S    more soup or hot chocolate protein drink..or both with time between to get my 1700 calories for the day

~3 litres water & all my supplements~

I am truly enjoying my swimming time, Susan! I stand in the deep end...just covers my shoulders since Im 5'almost 6 inches. Because my knees have been damaged when I tried to move Mother from wheelchair to car and back, I've had severe pain and burning ever since that day, Dec 27th.   But once I'm in the water, I can "jog" easily without pain..it's amazing!

I move my arms under the surface using the resistance of the water to push against... it must do SOME good for my bat wings, don't you think?  And there I stand, in the water, jogging for two solid hours..I don't get tired...it feels so easy and so good to move like that.  After two hours in the water, I get out and head to the hot tub and sit in there for about ten minutes...mmm! Then it's shower time and I gey dressed...but man oh man, is it ever hard to get my tight support stockimgs on after.

When I leave the hotel, I find that I have about two good hours of getting in and out of the car painfree! It's helping with the incessent throbbing in both legs...the pain is less than before and I swear that the lymphodemic swelling in my legs is decreasing. I go three times a week. It was so hard to wear my bathing suit in public but Im getting better.

Hey Bev, what kind of turkey sausage links do you buy? The ones I bought  had 10 grams of fat for 2 links. Yikes!  Usually I buy the ground turkey sausage and it's not nearly as bad.
