OT.... I never should say what next....

My daughter Carrie...a single mother of three...just found out she will no longer have a job after the 21st. All Snyder Drug Stores are closing....they sold out to Walgreens. Carrie has worked there since she was in High School. She was the Bookeeper/ Management person.

First Carrie's house gets foreclosed and now this.  Kyleigh, her daughter is in Gerard Academy...no more insurance for that after the 21st....Kyleigh wasn't supposed to be released until March. Carrie can't afford the Cobra insurance so that is out of the question. Kyleigh is not ready to come home....

Then there is the constant worry about Nic' cancer...like I said I should never say what next!!!

Please Keep them in your prayers.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Sending gentle hugs to {{{Connie}}} and {{{Carrie}}} too.

What bad news!  I will certainly keep Carrie and her family in my prayers. I can only hope that another opportunity will come along soon - maybe even soon enough to keep Kyleigh in her Academy.

Prayers for you and yours, Connie!

I understand ... I really do. I was told the Cobra insurance shouldn't be as much because of the stimulus package (maybe that doesn't apply in her case because of the family ... but have her check it out).

Thank you Marc...we are all pretty upset and scared right now. I am trying to remember that when one door closes another opens......

It might just be me... but those sayings like "when one door opens..." etc have never done much to make me feel better... even though it is true every time! ... I still worry and fret and make plans and contingencies ...

I do find that writing down all possibilities and eventualities, scenarios, and on and on really helps me... I see all the choices in black and white and realize that, aside from prayers, I have done all I can... and I relax a little.

Let us know... I will be thinking about you and yours...
