Hi Judy,
I haven't been around for a while and will go back to look and see what your results were.  Nerve pain is *awful* so I hope the block helps you.  I have ulnar nerve entrapment sometimes in my elbows so my ring & pinkie fingers go numb and that's painful.  Also had an inflamed sciatic nerve the whole month of July.  Childbirth was easier to endure than *that*.    I think it's cool you're making afghans, they're so pretty.  I used to do cross stitch but gave it up.  :)  Cassie

hi cassie!! your ulnar nerve sounds hurtful!!! i feel sorry for you!!!

making the afghans passes time and keeps me from eating snacks i shouldn't be into...lol i wish i could cross stitch but don't know how to do it. i used to embroider and loved that....but can't find any patterns for embroidery anymore. :-(

oh i didn't post my results yet will do that in a few minutes on another post.

Hey Judy,

Hope that you will be relieved of the back pain, as it is no fun when your back hurts, especially when you work on your feet!

Good luck and I think that taking a picture of that Afgan when you are done and posting it with instructions is a good idea. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Good Morning OFF,
I am so glad to wake up to OFF not only does it give me something to read. You have so much going on in your life. Yesterday I took my daughter for her appointment, She has lymphoma in both legs, so after treatment they have her ride a bike, I walked the treadmill next to her. What fun I didn't run out of breath lol. I guess walking every day is a good thing.

Today is my first Dr. Appointment post-surgery. My Daughter as chosen to have surgery also so Her first appointment is right after mind. So Please keep Annette in your thoughts. She is well over 425. I would love to have my daughter happy and healthy.

We all know mom can not be smaller than daughters. Any way My appointment was today also. I am down 21 lbs sense surgery, He says I am doing really good and can go back to work on the 19th Yea. Please be safe, and prayers to all that are in need

Well, another cool day in Northern Michigan.  I really need to get out and walk the dogs, or do some sort of exercise.  I have been pretty stationary the past few days.  Reading about Nancy joining the water program at the Holiday inn has made me feel really guilty.  The closest gym is probably about 16 miles away.  They closed the Curves that was only 3 miles away which was where I planned to join.  They're building a new Y up here, but it won't be finished until 2011, and I really shouldn't wait that long to join somewhere.  Living in the country does have some disadvantages.
My new Miche Bag (purse) and 4 shells came yesterday.  I bought it from Amazon I think and really saved a lot of $$$.  http://www.michebag.com  They're neat because you keep the same basic purse and just change the outside shell.  I checked out the bags on their site (and a couple of friends have them) and then went on e-bay and Amazon to get a good price.  I got the bag and 4 shells for only $100.  It really is like getting 5 purses for only $20 each.  They're really nice, I highly recommend them.
Going out for dinner tonight with friends.  On Tuesdays the menu is all half price.  I may order a steak.  Haven't had one in a long time.  It's weird tho, when I eat a 'hot' (just cooked) steak, I can't eat very much, but when I eat the leftover steak, cold, I have no problem.  What's with that?
Hope your day goes well and your dreams come true.  (where did that come from?)

Jan
