Rowing down the river---what are you eating?
Yesterday was a bust. Honestly I think there's a conspiracy against me buying fish. I bought some Mahi Mahi for dinner and it was BAD, threw it away and went out to dinner. So, my fish dinner at home ended up costing me $35. Dang.
So, here's today's plan. Let's see if it works out the way I want it to.
BTW, I bought a Wii fit plus yesterday and wore myself out on it. It is sssoooooooo much fun!
latte
crustless calzone
latte
cottage cheese w/ applesauce
leftover steak and green beans
1/2 PB&J on double fiber bread
ground lamb patty, broccoli and sweetpotato
That's only a little over 1000 cals, so I'll edit to add whatever else I can get in.
Hugs and good rowing to one and all!
Susan
Today I am just going to have quick things. Have leftovers from last night for everyone else and hubby will eat at his parents house.
B- Atkins shake
Lunch - Cottage Cheese and SF Jello
Dinner - I think, chili again. Good day for it. I don't seem to get tired of it.
Snack - Atkins food bar or an apple. Not sure yet.
Crystal lite Peach ice tea and water... Have to get my water in.

I am on my way. What a ride it has been.

Hello, Susan and the gang!
Well my menu also changed a bit from my plans, however, I had good stuff..just not enough. I have to force myself, even now, to eat enough..Ive been told at the Wharton Clinic so take in 1700 calories a day and will be going there next week on the nineteenth. Im a bit nervous about that since December was a wash-out..with all the holiday festivities, Mother's birthday party, Derek's birthday between Christmas & New Years, moving and packing up Mother, getting her settled in and FINALLY seeing her make such a dramatic improvement which took alot of pressure off me. I never dared to weigh myself..avoidance at it's best...but since I started this programme of accountability, and all my tests, I know I've lost weight..just dont know if it's enough to satisfy the clinic's goals for me since I was supposed to work it all thru December as well (and blew it).
This is my plan for today:
B hot chocolate protein drink
S cheese & multigrain crackers
L one crab cake (leftover from dinner on Sunday)
S one banana stuffed w/ peanut butter
D salad w/ romaine lettuce, shredded carrot, dried cranberries, chicken breast chunks, slivered almonds & sunflower seeds & LIGHT Renee's poppyseed dressing
S hot chocolate protein drink
ALSO: proper amount of water & supplements

Hi Susan and I'm rowing right beside you my friend.
2 cups of reg leaded coffee
B: one egg over easy with shredded cheese and salsa, 2 sausage links
S: Atkins shake
S: apple
L: On the go, gotta pick up my boss and manager to the airport, probably chili
S: Twisted Protein bar
S: banana after workout at gym
D: don't know yet, probably hamburger patty, 1 slice Brownberry double protein bread
All my water and vits
B: Cottage cheese and fruit (always...I love it!)
S: Nothing..eating breakfast late
L: Grilled cheese sandwich on 12 grain bread
S: ff/sf yogurt skipped the yogurt. I admit to a few potato chips....
D: salmon and a tossed salad with chick peas, a little cheese and ff rasp
viniagrette dressing (I also hate the balsalmic vinegar stuff...)
S: Protein Bar
S: low fat cheese sticks 1/4 cup of trail mix instead, after work at midnight. Not a good idea...
Not so good on the vitamins, calcium and water today....
Hopefully, nothing else. The grazing when I get home from work is a killer!
Still better than I usually do. A work in progress, that's me....

Susan - I hope you tell the butcher about the Mahi Mahi - they'll replace it or refund the money. I had to do that for some oysters recently, and the butcher did not bat an eye!
I am NOT good at planning ahead, so I am posting toward the end of the day.
Breakfast - Only coffee. Just ran out of time. Bad, I know.
Lunch - I had to attend a working lunch meeting. I had the insides of a roasted chicken and swiss cheese sandwich, with tomato, lettuce and dill pickle. No bread. I also ate a cookie.
Dinner - not sure. Probably some type of protein and a salad
Snack - this yummy pear that I have on my desk.
I bought the fish at Target (a superstore), and threw out the package with the fish. Oh well. If I had the bag I would have taken it back.
6:00 a.m. isn't really my idea of a good time to think about an evening snack, but since doing it for the last week or so, I find that I have stayed more on track.
That pear wouldn't happen to be from Harry & David, would it?
