Hope breakfast did not cause you pain and if so, I hope you did what you needed to. . .

Morning Candy & OFFr Family!

Nice to see you here and I, too, love the line about the tool . . .  sounds like you had a productive weekend and I sort of had a half and half weekend, half productive and half doing things with my b/f or roommate.

Well I am just dropping in to say hi, as I have to get ready for work now. . .

You all have a great day and for those in need prayers and positive thoughts to get through whatever life challenges are yours today!

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Candy and my OFF family:

I love your line too ... I need to use my tool again. I've gained 20 pounds and while some is water weight in my leg, some isn't, because my jeans are tight. Some is due to my antidepressant and some is due to being depressed over work issues ... and that's going to get worse when I'm not working. Mary Kay gave me some suggestions and kind of slapped in the face verbally long distance, telling me not to feel so sorry for myself for so long. Not in those words, but in that general idea. She said I need to see my psychologist once a week during this time ... probably true ... and need to volunteer somewhere once I'm unemployed so I'm at least out of the house, which I'm going to follow through on, because otherwise I'll be like my brother and just sit around and wonder what's on TV and what's for meals.

Gary and I also talked, and we may take a road trip down to Louisiana in the spring. I talked about going down to see Mary Kay in Baton Rouge, and then he said he would look to see if there's a timeshare place down there that we could use, then we'd both go down ... I could see Mary Kay, we'd both get a vacation out of it with just gas. So we're thinking about it. Not that I'd have that much money to spend, but at least we'd be out of our respective houses and doing something else. Maybe see Debbie Seymour too. If Gary doesn't go, it would be just me. Either I'd fly and drive back with Mary Kay or drive myself. Haven't decided yet.

Well, I have an appointment at the pain doc this morning. My friend Gayle is picking me up at 9 a.m.; they were calling for snow but it hasn't started yet. I need to get in the shower and wash my hair and get dressed. I'm chatting on Facebook with Margie's daughter, Lori Jo, her oldest. Her youngest daughter is in basic training with the Naval Reserve.

Well, I should get my butt in gear. Have a good day.

Good morning, ya'll.

I had all this typed once and we had a power blip and everything went blooey!!  I guess everyone woke up and turned up their heat!!

In about an hour my DD and I leave for Greenville for radiation treatments 19 through 23.  It is 17 degrees here.  We aren't used to that cold!  I'l be warmin' up the car for certain.

We had a really quiet, boring weekend.  I'm expecting a quiet and boring week, too.  Which is really not a bad thing!

Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Good morning all. Not much going on today. Had a wonderful weekend with Margo & Michael. And of course the dogs! Brody is such a sweetheart
& Roxie Is a cutie. All the dogs got along great except my Lucy. She is such a diva!

Missed a call from my son last night. He left a message on my cell phone.
I hope he calls again today. He has a hard time getting through on the home phone, so he calls on the cell. I hate that he may stay overthere for 6 more mos., but it has to be his call. Well I need to get moving, Margo thank you for a great relaxing weekend. We will do it again soon. And Jani, I promise to give you a call!

Good morning Candy and OFF family.

It was a busy weekend, I did deep water aerobics Saturday with BF Deborah who is a lapbander then we went out for breakfast, we split an omelet then we went to the Discovery Shop, all money goes to the American Cancer Society so it's a win-win for all.
Bought a beautiful fake fur longer style jacket with knitted type material on the sleeves. Great walking coat!! Whhhooo!

Sunday went and took MIL to her church. 45 minute drive but we have to travel to Kalamazoo where she lives and then her church is on the other side of town. I see her starting to fail and it's good to get her out of the house and she does enjoy going to church. She tires out easily now and didn't want to stay for fellowship.

Today after work it's spin class. Talked a co worker into trying spin. She also joined me Sat in deep water and she loved it! Yeahhh....another workout buddy. This co-worker has lost about 50 with going to her own "eating coach" which is one of our dietitians and doing exercise. I'm proud of her. Now she is getting more self confidence and wants to work out harder so she's going with me now to exercise classes. We also will start walking together at work during lunch hours and breaks.

Good morning all.  Good weekend.  Hurricanes beat the Ottawa Senators 4 to 1 last night.  DH and I were lucky enough to get free tickets.  Good seats too!  It took us about 2.25 hrs to get there but it was well worth the trip.  It is nice to get out of town for a bit.
I would like to make one of those Bariactric Conferences too.  I will keep my eye open for this one coming up in Nov.  Sounds fun and interesting.  I have never been to one.
I am at work today.  It is going quickly. (knock on wood) I don't go in to my part time job today.  Yay.  I will go to the gym after work.
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.

Hi Candy and all my OFF friends,
Candy, I also liked your line about our tool.  Eileen, I went back and read your post from the weekend about you losing your job.  So sorry.  I'm glad to see you're being so positive.
Went to see Hubby's shut-in Aunt yesterday.  Went to Costco for veggies and stuff.  Hubby bought a new scale.  It shocked me a little.  Apparently our old scale wasn't so accurate in my favor.  Recommitted myself to my weight loss regimen.  Even with the tool, it's still all in my head.
I'm not looking forward to our new car search.  The car is supposed to be for me but Hubby is putting a lot of pressure on me to buy what he wants.  Albeit, I don't have a good reason for not getting the best deal possible but I don't want to settle and he's aiming for a car that doesn't have a lot of choices in our area.  The one he wants to look at is red, I hate red for cars.  It's a lower package than what we said we wanted. But there are only about five cars available within a 100 mile radius and none of them have the package or color I want.  I want to go with a Toyota Venza or Nissan Rogue, he wants a Chevy Equinox.  I'm paying for it, I'm living with it every day.  The battle begins.
Tonight I have cub scouts.  That will get me moving.  In this cold, I sure have been sluggish (12* this a.m.).
Keep warm everyone and hoping everyone's health improves.
Hugs,
Bev
