How to join your forum

Hi!
I am new to O H having surgery 2/1/2010. I am 64 live in the upper part of New York State I was just wondering on how to join and put your forum on my page.
I am nervous about surgery because of my age. I am in really good health, and do not have any really bad problems as of yet. I do have back issues because of my weight and hope they go away.

Hi Clara,  I'm not new to OH, but I'm new to this board.  I've been posting to the main board but I think this one will be a better fit for me.  OH has been really helpful and supportive,  I think you'll like it here!

Hi Clara, dont worry about your age there are so many of us on here that were over 65 when we had surgery ...i was 65 have had no trouble at all. nothing.......i went from size 22/24 to 8/10s i havent lost as much weight as fast as a lot of people but im now comfortable  being a 10. of course i have a lot of wrinkled skin but i wouldnt be wearing bikinies even if i didnt have the loose skin.  I am over 3 years out after surgery....good luck on your upcoming surgery.

You have already joined us by posting.  That's all, simple and free!
Don't worry about the surgery too much.  If you're in good health you should have no problems.  I found it to be very easy on me, and the best thing I've ever done for myself.  I hope your back problems go away with the weight.  Mine did.

Claraa, Welcome. You have taken the step to join by participating. I had lap RNY almost 5 years ago. Best decision I ever made. Just wish I had been able to do it sooner! Hi Clara and welcome,

I love this board.  A wealth of info and real life experiences.   Some you can really relate to.  I had my surgery in Feb 2009  .  I am 57.  No problems at all physically.  Don't you worry, you will do just fine.

I also chose to book mark this page.  It is at the top of this page.  It takes me to it when ever I want.
