I would be so seasick I couldn't see straight. I am afraid of water but I prefer to call it respect rather than fear. When you live so near the Lake you hear nothing but death all summer long. That is why I respect it. I have to give you lots of credit for doing that...it takes special people.

How cool Marc.  What an adventure.  My friend's son just went into the navy.  After boot camp he's going to Florida to train in Special Ops for a year to be a rescue swimmer.  What a career he'll have.  Must be such an adrenalin rush!

When you got promoted, was it effective immediately, or do you have to wait until you get to the new job?

Hope the pen making is going well.  Still cold in the shop?

I just have to wait for the new job until they get a replacement for me and I have trained him up a little...

Pen making is at a complete stand still... it is 19 degrees today... I can make the pen, but can't put a finish on it... then the wood will get yucky waiting around... so I just have to wait until it warms up some.. hopefully once this artic blast blows past...

Seriously...that is some job...I couldn't do it that is for sure. It takes a special kind of person to do that job. You never cease to amaze me!

Operating those rescue boats was the most fun and excitement I have had with my clothes on

I wont tell ya about the skiing, scuba diving or parachuting yet... you will think I am full of guacamole.
