Hello everyone. Room on the barge for one more?
I don't usually plan my food, that is what I have a wife for.

LOL
This is a nice bunch of folks. I have even had the wonderful opportunity to meet a bunch of them.
Don't fret about the weight loss. Regardless of whether you lose another pound or not, you've lost over 160 lbs already. A goal is not a MUST number. Your goal may be different from your doctor's goal. Be happy. You are in a much better situation now than when you started, aren't you?
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
With that statement, you are wise to hide under a chair (lol), though knowing how you and Mary are, I know you are a big joker. . .
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

You will like it here. Lots of good folks. I find it like these are my friends. They give good advice.
As far as what I am eating today, hmmm..
I think a protein drink for breakfast
Probably another one for lunch
Dinner - cottage cheese and apricots.
Snack a food bar , I think.
I haven't been hungry lately and force down what I am eating and drinking. Seems I lost my appetite. Will stay on my vitamins though.
Have a great day!
Mary
I am on my way. What a ride it has been.

The stomach bug has nothing to do with the flu we get the shots for. That's respiratory. I hear the stomach flu has been going around, quite a few here have mentioned it. Hope you''re over the worst of it.
Hang in with us. This barge is moving along, picking up passengers every day, helping each other in the process.
hugs!

Welcome Sybul, you will find this board very supportive.
Don't worry about getting to your goal, your are doing great.
Took me almost 2 years to get to goal size 6/8. This is for life and there is no time line to get to your weight loss goal. Yes, we have a "honeymoon period" but we have a tool for life. You just have to follow the rules.
If you plan your small meals and document, you finally realize you are NOT grazing. I have to eat several small meals a day BUT I also am a big exerciser.
I have chosen exercise as my "Transfer Addiction". Why? Because I have an addictive personality and I know me. Very easily that could have been alcohol because my father was an alcoholic and so are my brothers along with drugs. So I have chosen wisely. I am in control.
At the ripe young age of 53 (soon to be 54) I get it. I have learned lifestyle change, moderation and exercise. Am I really addicted to exercise? Nope but my body sure does feel good when I do it. Just like everyone else I have to make myself go to the gym or exercise at home.
Welcome and keep posting.
