Connie I love PF Changs too!  Most def on the wraps and I love their Spicy PF Chang's Chicken dinner, though I take most of it home and have it two more times (lol). . .  Not sure you have them by you yet, but PF Changs has opened a "fast food" version of their higher end restaurant, which is called Pei Wei's and it has a lot of what the pricier one does, only it's a go up order, get a number pick up your own drinks, silverware and what not, sit down, they bring your food and that's it. . .  keep your eye out for it, hopefully they will be (if they aren't already) in your area soon.

Hugs, Laureen

Love love love the lettuce wraps at PF Chang's and Pei Wei's.  That's all I ever get there now and before WLS.  I've even gone to Pei Wei's and gotten a carry out of the lettuce wraps, with double lettuce.  They are so yummy.  I want some now.  There are neither PF Chang's nor Pei Wei's where I now live.  I'll have to go back downstate to get them now.

Hi George and all my OFF friends,
It's snowing.  We are supposed to go into an even deeper chill over the weekend.  The furnace quit this morning.  When we got up it was 58* and no ho****er.  DH worked on it and tryed clearing the fuel lines and bleeding the air out of them and changing the fuel filter.  It was going when we left for work.  I'll pop home for lunch and see if it is still working.  We can't afford broken pipes.
Going to see DH Aunt this weekend sometime.  Otherwise the weekend is wide open.  Need to do some housework.  I think I'll try to see the movie "It's Complicated" during the weekend.
Tuesday a.m. I'm having the inside of the car detailed - carpets cleaned and all.  That way we can get the most trade in value when we go look at new cars next week.  The car has under 60,000 miles and 5 years old so I'm hoping we can get at least $11,000 for it.
I'm eating my WW meal at my desk right now before I head out for lunch hour.
Another quiet day at work.
Blessings to all,
Bev

Good morning all...it is almost noon here I guess.  I had mammogram re=test this morning.  Tuesday I went in for my annual physical with my PCP and later had the mammogram done.  The Nurse called me the next day and said the radiologist thought he saw something on the left "girl" so I had to go in this morning for another set of views.  I was a nervous wreck of course and did not sleep a wink last night thinking the worst.  My good Sorority sister, who is head of that Xray dept did the test this morning (which helped tremendously) and after confering with the radiologist gave me the "All Clear" sign and whewwwwwwwwww what a relief that was.  My DH had given me a ride to the hospital Xray dept and waited for me as it is -27 degrees below zero here, so after the good news we stopped and had breakfast at a local coffee shop and I celebrated by having "high test" coffee instead of de-caf with my egg and bacon.  At 12:30 I will have him drop me off at my Beauty Salon for my usual nail fill.   That is my news for the day.  I hope all the rest of you are staying warm if you live in the frozen areas and those of you in the so called warmer areas are enjoying the sunshine.  Although it seems is is unusually colder  in those places as well.
Happy Weekend.

Hi George and my OFF family:

It's finally stopped snowing here but it's cold (24) and windy. Actually, we probably just got about 4 inches, so it's not too bad. They just didn't clean the roads off very well yesterday. It was rather slick driving home (more so than coming in). I think we might have had some freezing rain along with the snow. Seemed a little icy too.

I have to go into work early today. We have a big meeting about something ... some changes at work. So what misery are they going to put us through now? There's speculation that they're going to take vacation time away from us (I now get four weeks) or it's about the job security pledge that goes away in February (there's speculation that WARN letters will go out soon because layoffs will start in February, and they have to give 60 days notice to people). My boss told the Kalamazoo people who were going to be off today they should come in for the meeting ... they were not really happy, which I understand. When we were told about the pay cut, I had to come in on my day off, too. Not something you want to hear on your day off.

We had choices of 10 a.m. (the main editorial meeting), 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. ... I think most of us working at night are going to the 4 p.m. meeting, which still means we're getting in two hours early for work.

How nice Mary makes you breakfast ... I have to make my own, which is why I don't make breakfast. (I have protein coffee instead ... I'm too lazy to cook. I always said I won't get married until I can find someone who will cook and clean for me like my dad ... and they are rare finds indeed. Or someone who can hire someone to cook and clean for me.)

I'm  so tired today and in so much pain. This cold weather does me no good at all ... those of you who are fibromyalgiacs understand. I have an injection for my back scheduled for Monday, and boy, do I need it. Actually, the last one didn't do me a whole lot of good, because right after I got it, the **** hit the fan about me moving to sports and I've been stressed out ever since. I need to move to a warmer, dryer climate and get out of some of this stress.

Well, anyway, I've babbled on enough. Have a good day and stay warm and safe.

Nothing too new in Minnesota - more cold and a bit more snow!  Like we need it!  Makes traveling a pain and even getting out to the car and all treacherous.

I'm working, although have taken quite a few hours off this week, because Michael is still in the hospital. Turns out he has a staph infection so they are treating it and keeping him there until it really improves to the point he's out of danger.

Otherwise, not much going on here - work is OK and they've been really flexible with me and work and going to the hospital.  I'm so tired at night I fall into bed and am sleeping before my head hits the pillow.  Weekend will be nice, when I don't have to use the alarm clock!
