what's new Thursday
When you spoke of chosing the food over liquid, I laughed in acknowledgment, as yesterday not too long after I had my dinner I was looking for something to put in my mouth and thought, hmm, I still have fluids to take in today and so instead I made myself a large cup of International Decaffienated Vanilla Latte, for a total of about 50 calories, it topped off my fluid intake and took away that urge to put food in my mouth. . . went to bed a short time later. . .
Glad to hear that they got to the bottom of your falling spells, now drink up!
Hugs, Laureen

When I go to the store I am going to look for something like that to drink...maybe it will help with upping the fluid intake. I am making a effort this morning...I have to go get another bottle of water. Oh dear will I float away? I doubt it....fat floats doesn't it?

Seems like everyone is trying to stay on track or getting there. Me too. It is rough but have to do it.
My doc is on Maternity leave and I had an appointment with her on the 27th. I get a letter that they are making me see another doc I never saw before. I called this morning and told them I would wait for my doc. So, I have an appointement in Feb. Why should I see another doc who doesn't know my history. I would be disappointed not to see her. I have some questions to ask. Like, I never asked what her goal is for me. I would like to know. I know what I would like for a goal and wonder if it meets hers.
I told you my son had the intestinal flu. I went around like a germ aphob and sprayed everything with Lysol. So far no one else has got it. Thank God. He sounded like he was dying.
My dogs are pestering me because they can't stay outside long because of the cold and snow. They run around the house with the ball in their mouths. Funny, and annoying at the same time!
It is bitter cold here and I hope it warms up. They are predictin another snow storm here and oh gee, I can't wait. I don't like to go out in it. Since my surgery I seem to be cold all the time. Before I was hot all the time. Go figure. Must have been all that fat that kept me insulated.
Well... be good everyone. Stay warm and happy

Mary,
Roxie wants to play too, but she wants to play outdoors and it is too cold for that, though I did take her for a nice long walk last night. . .
Have a great day, stay warm!

They want to play outdoors. I just can't get myself to go out in the cold. I admire you for taking a walk in this chilly weather. Not me, I want to stay by the wood burner..lol

I put on my really good, as in warm, sweat pants, my warm fuzzy boots, a sweat shirt, a scarf and my hooded jacket, plus there was no wind last night, so that made it doable, as I can tolerate the cold, it's when the wind blows or it's damp and rainy cold, that I won't be caught out of doors. . . Roxie is a hoot though, she must not have been walked outdoors too often, because she gets all excited and has to sniff each blade of grass and I also think she gets a little anxiety as to why and where we might be going, she also does not do potty, as I think she was trained to go in a backyard; so I have some work to do with her, but by the spring, hopefully she will be leash trained and used to going potty wherever she needs to outdoors, of course. . .
