Nice to see you Pat, hope things start working in your favor soon.

Yes, writing it down seems to help keep us honest and on track.

Don't you just love peanut butter in your oatmeal?

Hi Susan and Pat and those that follow.

I don't know what I am eating today.  My stomach is upset for some reason.  My son had the intestinal flu last night and I hope I am not getting it.   I will try and get my liquids in and my protein shakes.  If I can stomach it a protein bar.

Oh gosh, sure hope you aren't getting sick. The stomach bug can't be pleasnt when you don't really have a stomach!

MMMMM, homemade bread. I used to make about 3 loaves a week, back in the day, not in a bread machine either. Now, the most I will do is make beer bread when I get a big pot of chili or soup going. One loaf is just enough, but the temptation is still tough.

Susan - you sing, I'll help row.

Last night Tom made the SF pudding. Oh dear, it was so lumpy. How the heck he did that, I'll never know.

B - a few bites of cottage cheese & berries. No way to get more in so I'll save it for lunch.
L -the rest of my breakfast
S - apple & peanut butter
D - good question - left over pork & green beans ?

My menu seldom varies but that works for me. My taste bud often revolt so the tried and true keep them happy.

Me singing would be an instant diet plan.....you all would be sick!

Lumpy pudding?  Really? Not sure how that can happen, but he was nice to at least try.

I'm freezing. The wind chill could be -20 tomorrow. I've never ever experienced 0, and it's still in the 20's now. What's a girl to do?

I've got to hang onto the barge, as I can't swim.  Yesterday was not a good food day.

Today's plan:

B:  12 grain bagel with butter (I know, I know!!!!  I'm trying....)
       coffee with fat free 1/2 & 1/2

S:   ff/sf yogurt

L:   Homemade chili, lotsa beans and beef

S:   low fat cheese sticks

D:   Homemade soup, wild rice/squash/sausage

I know I have to get away  from the fattier meats, need more chicken and fish.  Right now I'm trying to de-carb a bit, and drink more water and less coffee.    One thing at a time....  Or is that three....?
