Connie, you're always here for any one of us. Is there anything we can do for you?

Here's a big hug (((((_)))))))) just for you!

Hi Susan,
I don't have any helpful hints....I wish I was as faithful as you are to the program! I haven't noticed that you haven't been posting because I've been in SAN DIEGO- but I thought of you several times while I was there- so count that as caring, OK? I do understand feeling hurt that people don't always respond or seem to care if you are here or not. I feel it too... it's just that insecurity for me of wanting to be important to my friends. Since we are online friends it is not quite the same I guess- especially when many of us are sporadic about posting because of our work schedules. That's my two cents! :) Try to not be hard on yourself- stress doesn't help anything!

Did you say hi to all my family and friends while you were in SD? Thanks for thinking of me, and for your thoughtful words. You're right, insecurity is a difficult thing to overcome when it's been around your whole life.

Hope you had a wonderful time in SD and that everyone treated you well.

Take care!

Susan

OK Susan,
Karen, Laureen, Judy, Eileen, Julia, Annette and all the other 2 years plus...I think I am sailing on the same boat as you!
But we won't sink! No, we won't!

I feel the same about the posting as you have shared, Susan. Also I am so tired after work that I read and just don't feel I have much to contribute. I get on every morning about 5am and don't have time to post then. Just to read.

I am sorry for not making the effort to stay involved with new people or the "oldies."

I even took my ticker down! I felt like a liar. I have gained about 10 lbs too Have managed to get about 5 of those off but have to say I am still putting in the carbs that I should not be putting in...
I probably don't eat as much protein as I should, I know I don't and I don't drink my water, I drink lots of tea. I do exercise most of the time and once I get back on my schedule (off during vacation) I won't have a problem with the exercise. My resolution for this year is to be a do bee about my vitamins. I have been such a dont bee. So I guess I don't have any advice in that area but I will give my support.

Susan, I have always enjoyed your posts and did miss them. You are always so positive and I liked hearing about your businesses.
All you all women! I just likes ya so much!!!! Oh, you men too!

I had never heard about the gaining weight after 3 years thingy so now I will keep that in mind....

Hugs to you Susan and to all the others that have chimed in and to those who have been too tired to chime in and to those who don't think they have anything to add....Hugs to all of you!

(Some of you know I am not a very huggie person so hugs from me are not the norm!)

Take Care,
Cheryl

Cheryl, you're a gem!

Isn't it interesting how many of us are in the same boat?  Maybe it should be a barge because we can't all fit into a row boat..lol!

We must all row together or surely we will sink.

Hugs back at ya!

Susan,
I am new here kinda. I am 5 days Post op. Yet i use my wii plus daily. I love the light run, There is one that you swing you hips to reach 10. Fun yet didn't know how long from brain to bottom moving lol. I wish you the best. I have depended on the wonderful people of this site for a lot of my support and helping me along this path.
I wish you a speedy return to your path. Yet please note it is not that the path is lost only the the wind blew the leaves in our way.

Terri, you are a wise woman and I love that last sentence.

My PCP's nurse told me today they've had an influx of middle aged patients with tennis elbow and tendonitis from playing Wii. What a hoot!
What game is it with the hip swinging??? I can't run due to a bad ankle, but the hip swinging thigy sounds fun. I played tennis for almost an hour this morning and then boxed for about 20 min. If my elbow starts to bother me, trust me when I say I won't go  to the doctor with it. The nurse would get too much of a laugh out of it.....LOL

Susan,
It is the new wii fit. the disc is 20.00 everywhere and the board and every thing else you have. I love it I can even weigh my pets. They can't work out with me but mia. My littlest one jumps on the board as soon as I place on the floor.

My Dad always said I am good at making up positive phrases. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm Maybe right.

I don't have the Wii Fit, just the regular Wii. I got some cash for Christmas and was thinking about putting that toward a Fit. Should I go ahead and just get the Wii Fit Plus?
