What's Happenin' this Sunday?

Good morning, ya'll.

Is everyone sleeping in?  Or just frozen solid?  It is up to 20 degrees here.

Sunday mornings are always BLT mornings at Gramma's house.  I'll bet I don't have any grandkids come down this morning!  If the options are go out in 20 degree weather to have BLT's at Gramma's or stay snuggled up in bed til it warms up (about 3 PM), I know which they are gonna choose.

Everyone have a fantabulous day!!

Good morning one and all...

I was up at 4:30.... guess that energy spike from eating right must be happening!

I went to my first WW meeting and got all the materials I need and weighed in and attended my first meeting.  The meeting went well I thought...

Then shopping to get more of the right foods in the house... then to Walmart for some of those $5 sweat pants and some new socks.

...... then to the gym and an hour of exercise. Now I am pretty sore... especially my arms!

Lots more reading today... learning all I can about this program. I think I have to stick with the non slider foods though... I had oatmeal yesterday, and thought that would stick to my ribs but an hour later I was pretty hungry. That doesn't seem to happen with a couple of eggs.

Well, whatever happens, I gotta tell ya.....sure does feel good to be doing SOMETHING!! ... I guess any action is better than no action, and my goal is not to lose weight this time... it is to change my eating habits for good, once and for all. Sure would be nice to be one of those success stories I read about,

Wishing you lots of success with WW!  Of all the programs I tried, WW is the rockin-est best.  I lost a great deal of weight when I was 17 on the program and kept it off until I was 32.  That's when I got pregnant and quit smoking.  After that, my body metabolism changed and I wasn't able/didn't exercise as I should so the pounds just didn't come off.  :(   But it's the healthiest and the most sensible and the easiest to maintain.  You can do it!!!

Marc, know that we are behind you on your Weigh****chers walk. I think you will be doing great on this...you will become a guy with great eating habits and the choosing of your foods that work well for you will come in time. I believe that you will be a loser too! Keep us posted on your trip down the road and we will be your cheerleaders....but not the Dallas ones...the OH cheerleaders! It will just take a bit longer than the Dallas ones...they are MUCH younger don't cha know!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good Morning Everyone!

I feel just terrible after reading on another thread that Dororthy lost her daughter on Christmas day.

I find that I have much to be thankful for.

I am going to my in laws today for dinner.  Probably play cards.  They love to play cards when we come over.

The weather is so cold.  The wind chill must be below zero.  I hate this weather.  There is nothing I like about it.

Hope everyone has a nice day and stay healthy.

 Good morning everyone!!!

Mary,,,I'm with you.  Its awful cold here and I hate winter anymore!!!

Last Wed. I had a very loooonnnngggg test done at the Hospital.  Its called a sestamibi test.  It took about 3-4 hours and its one of the nuclear tests.  It was supposed to show which of the parathyroids in my neck is not working so that I can have it removed.
I've been sitting on pins and needles since then.  I have not heard from the dr. yet...and the tech wouldn't even let me see the pictures..(Although I have to pay for them and they are pics of my neck!!!!)
Hoping I hear tomorrow..as I did catch a peek and think its 2 parathyroids not one that is broken.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year...lets just say I'm sick of seeing water in my house..my kitchen sink sprung a leak on Christmas day..and now I found out that my freezer (in the refrig( is leaking!! (good news is I also found out that my refrig has been recalled so the fix if free)

Well...hope all have a wonderful Sunday.  I can't wait to get back to school tomorrow..a schedule and hopefully back to NORMAL!!!

Terrir 41 in the desert seems pretty cold when you are use to warmer weather. ...on your food you will get there, be sure and get all your water in , being dehydrated is lots worse than not getting all the food in...keep on keeping on.

Hey Terri,
weather's like time to me.  It's relative to where you are!  I might complain of the heat when it's only 78 degrees out, ya know? ;)  Best wishes getting in all your liquids & stuff!  Take it nice'n'easy and listen to your body :)
