Well we survived New Years Eve!!!! and New Years Day!!!!!
I didnt drink, I didnt overeat, I didnt do anything!!!!! I did go grocery shopping and Sams Club, BJs, and Costco hopping. Didnt buy much at either place!!!!
Today I have a baby shower to go to for my cousin. She is on number 3!!!!! Due anyday!!!!!
I have a cat that is driving me nuts tonight or should I say this morning. He Mr Tevia thinks my bed is his domain!!!!!
Well off for more shut eye maybe.
Grab your cuppa and sit a spell and tell us some new things.

Went out for dinner at chinese Buffet...I ordered from the menu a bowl of Egg Drop soup..it did not bother me to watch my husband eat..my only thoughts was how did i manage to eat all that in my prior life...
We went to see ""It 's Complicated "  with Meryll strepp, Alec badwin,Steve martin....It was too funny..it was great to be laughing really hard...
Then we came home and watched Dick clark show ...showing New York Times Square  ...Ball dropping. at midnight
Another new year ,,so exciting to realize thiis will be the year to drop all my excess weight...and join all of U in Onederland ...Cant wait.....
have fun at Baby Shower....
and rest up for work on Monday..now that u have joined the working force...

 I am a man who totally enjoyed "It's Complicated".  Really thought it would be a complete chick flick, but in my eyes it was not.  Meryl Streep is on heck of an actress.  Love her works.

Wow, I'm still amazed it's 2010 - lol - the years are flying by....glad I'm healthier and able to get around so much better without all that extra lard.

It sounds windy and cold outside....still can't see out yet, it's still dark.  Not sure what's in store for today....thinking about taking down the Christmas decorations.

 Mary has started taking down the decorations.  All she has left is the tree.  Has not asked for my help.  And being a man, I have not offered it.  There are certain chores I hate.  And all of the involve putting stuff up.  I don't mind doing laundry or dishes, but I despise putting either one of them up.

Good morning... and into a new year we go!

I spent waaaaaay too much time yesterday trying to get a chainsaw running... stubborn lil rascal. Today I am going to take a really large hammer and turn it into a placemat :)

Yesterday was a real eye opener for me. I started Weigh****chers... set up the account online, filled out all the online stuff, and started the online diary of my foods and points. Pretty easy actually... they have done a good job setting up their online help. Today I go for my first weigh in and meeting. The eye opener part... I really did not think I was eating too much, and WW has me at 44 points, which seems like a LOT of food, but I found myself getting really hungry. I have been eating way more than I should, but until set the limits and adhered to the WW rules it never really hit me. About 4pm the hunger stopped and I felt fine... more than fine actually... I started getting that burst of energy I remember from days past when I was eating right. I gotta do something about my coffee creamer though... it is eating all my points! Maybe I just wont put them in my diary.... that should make them go away right?? .... I am measuring the creamer now though... and yet another thing I was having too much of and didn't realize it... One tablespoon is just fine... coffee tastes perfect with just one tablespoon of creamer! ... whodathunkit?

I have an apple pealer... bought it for $1 at a flea market a couple of years ago, and it was unused and still in it's original box... never opened it. Yesterday I found it while organizing the storage shed and took it in the house and pealed an apple with it.... too cool! You just stick the apple on some prongs and turn a handle and the blade comes down and plops onto the apple and peels it perfectly! ... I don't like apples much, but have to get used to them and they taste a lot better to me peeled... :)

Well.... blabbed enough I reckin... I am gonna get into the Rain Locker and then head off to the WW place and get that part of the program up and running....

 Good luck with your WW.  I have gained a few pounds during the last two weeks, but I know why so I am not that worried.  Just have to take the actions to get it off.  Will see if I can do it gradually.

Try sprinkling a little Splenda and some cinnamon on the apples.  You don't need much to be able to envision apple pie when you're eating them.

Then, if you want to go one step farther, try warming them up.

 Put your apple in the microwave with some cinnamon & splenda...   nuke just enough to give it the consistency of apple pie.....   was easier to get down.  Same thing with pears.

PS... there are better ways to get a place mate than hammering your chainsaw....  bwahhahha

 Today appears like it will be a light day.  I have to work my part time job.  While I do that, Mary will be going to CVS.  Got my notice today that I have $12.50 in Extra Bucks available.  Plus they sent me a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase.  Mary needs calcium (we use different kinds) and I need vitamins.  So, why not let them buy them for me?  She will by something cheap to get the Extra Bucks printed, then purchase the needed items.  And of course she does this with the gift cards she gets for renewing our meds.

Pride hates when we play Wii.  He does not like the hand motion.  Oh well, he just has to get smart enough to leave the room when we play.
