Hi Carla and my OFF family:

Boy, my computer is slow on the board this afternoon (yes, it's already afternoon).

I slept til 10 ... got up a couple times earlier but decided I needed more sleep. I have noticed since I've been on the Lexapro (antidepressant) I have very vivid dreams again ... good dreams, actually, but I sleep more soundly too. My 90-day supply finally arrived Thursday after I was out of it for a week. Anyway, had some very vivid, interesting dreams.

I am going to watch the only college football bowl game that I'll watch this year ... the International Bowl ... and that's only because my alma mater, Northern Illinois, is playing in it. Now I'm going to let everyone in on something I've been keeping under my hat for awhile. About a couple of weeks ago, I got a message on Facebook from a guy I worked with on the college newspaper. I vaguely remember him ... he was the ad manager so I didn't have a lot of interaction with him. Anyway, we've been corresponding for a couple of weeks back and forth, and he said he was going to the bowl game in Toronto. I said if you going through Grand Rapids, you should stop by. He is the marketing manager for a medical device company, and there are a bunch of medical devices companies in GR that he visits anyway. So he said he might come this way and get some business done on the way back. So on Monday, we are getting together for dinner. Should be interesting to meet an old college colleague. Like I said, I vaguely remember him ... I remember that he was very tall (he's 6-5).

Not much going on here. I worked last night, will work again tonight but don't have to go in til 5 p.m. Carla, my cats are very sweet in the morning. Scooter snuggles with me and doesn't want to get up; Nettie will come up and stand on my chest and meow and purr, but really doesn't try to wake me up either. Now, Kittle, my old cat now deceased, was very insistent on getting me up ... he even broke a ceramic piece I had (he got a big timeout for that and didn't get fed that morning ... he was very apologetic afterward).

Well, that's all from West Michigan for now. It's sunny here but very cold ... 16 degrees, but no snow, so that's good. Have a good day. One more day of work for me, then two days off.
