It's New Year's Eve, what's new review
I'm back again and surprised no one else is up and about - lol - where's Eileen and George, the early birds? LOL
I went into the kitchen to get my coffee and Obi (African Grey) said "go back to sleep." LOL - she's so funny and cute!
I'm sipping on decaf and wondering how tired I'm going to be later on in the day....I may just need a nap since I've been awake since 1 a.m., decided to get up at 2:45 a.m., and I'm still sitting here.
No plans for us for this evening. The weather is supposed to be bad, so it's best not to be out on these slippery country roads, especially on a New Year's Eve. We'll probably get some steamed shrimp, and I'm thinking of getting some lump crab meat to make some crab cakes - YUM!
Have a wonderful New Year's Eve everyone! Be safe.
Debbie
Not in too good a mood right now. I had car troubles on the way to work. The check engine light was flashing and the car seemed to be missing. Which upsets me because I had a tuneup just about 6 weeks ago. I know I need a catalytic converter, but was hoping I could hold on.
Less than three hours of work left this year for me.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
I get off work today at 2:30, and then a 3 day weekend... cool beans!
Today after work I am joining Weigh****chers.... hoping to (Finally!) attack and beat that monster that has plagued me all my life... poor eating, and no exercise. I don't want to overhwhelm myself with a ton of "ya gotta's" so I am going to K.I.S.S. .... follow their eating plan, and exercise... no excuses, just put these 2 things above all else for awhile. I will try and take vitamins and drink water, but no promises here... well, the vitamins should be pretty easy, but drinking water... that's a tough one for me.
Still no word on my replacement... so I just keep doing my job and trying not to worry about it... hopefully my body will not completely fall apart before I get this transfer....
Hope everyone has a wonderful start to the new year... it's a great chance to start over, start again, or hey... just start!

Tom cooked dinner while I was at the docs. By the time I came home, all I wanted was bed and jammies but he insisted that I eat first. GAG
Janet suggested that we tell about the good things in our lives. I'm pretty lucky to have Tom. He can be a royal PITA (pain in the - - -) but man oh man , he has put up with me without complaints. Despite his recent chocolate eating binge, I'll keep him.
Happy New Year .
