Baby watch update

I told you early this morning (before I left work) that my sister-in-law Margaret's daughter Caryn was in labor. Well, Elyse Loren O'Sullivan was born at 3:40 a.m. weighing in at 7lbs, 3oz. and 19 inches tall. This is Margaret's second granddaughter and my brother Ed's fourth grandchild (he has two grandsons by his daughter, Andrea; Caryn is his stepdaughter, and his stepson Brian has one daughter, Maddie ... blended families!).

So Margaret was up early this morning, but I'm sure she's happy, although tired, because she got to be out there with her daughter. This woman is a nice girl, but has some strange ideas ... like carrots help acid reflux. However, when she was pregnant, she threw a lot of them out the window and used Tums to help her acid reflux. She does a newsletter on nutrition and I think a blog too ... not sure on that ... lives out your way, Lauryn, in New Jersey somewhere.

So a new little life in the world.

Eileen,

NJ is a pretty big state (lol), my cousin lived in the same state as me, it was 112 miles away, but the same state, think only Texas, PA and maybe Cali are bigger (lol). . . anyway, congratulations on becoming a great aunt again, the birth of a baby certainly is a welcome bit of news, there are a couple of them coming on my PA board in the coming days. . .  but then again most of the posters there are in their late 20s and 30s. . .

Thanks for sharing the good news on the birth of Elyse Loren O'Sullivan, may she have a long, successful and happy life!

Hugs, Laureen

Not really sure, but somewhere nearer to New York because that's where her hubby works.

Well then they are probably about 70 or more miles from me. . .  when I worked in NY I was 84 miles from the office. . . now my round trip to work is that. . . ;)  anyway, it's all good. . .
