Jacki,
My thoughts are with you and your husband during this stressful time.  My co-worker right on the other side of my cubicle has stage 4 colon cancer (has gone to his liver) and he is doing great.  They have made big strides in treatment for this.  He is on a probiotic diet and is receiving his chemo.  He looks healthier now than he has in a long time.  Stay positive, hon.  Talk whenever you need to.
I know with my cancer diagnosis, it's always darkest when you first learn about it.
I'm praying for you both.
Hugs,
Bev

Jacki, I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping you and Bob in my prayers and good thoughts. I know that it is a frightening thing to be going through but know that you are a strong woman and you will get through things just fine. I know that they are doing some fantastic things with cancer treatment and so keep the optimism up...Bob will also catch on to the good thoughts too.

Know that you can come here anytime and chat with us. We want to kept up to date with what is going on with both of you. You are as a part of this family as anyone is and so never feel that you are "bothering" us when you come here.

Accentuate  the positive and eliminate the negative...I would sing the song but I am sure that alone would put you in such a depression that you would never get out that hole!! I know that it does that to me...

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Jacki,
You have a small army of caring people here. Talk or phone any time you need a shoulder or ear.

Jacki, You and Bob will be in my prayers.  Stage 4 doesn't sound good, but you MUST keep a positive attitude.  Without sticking your head in the sand, of course.

This is the place to: blow off steam, cry, vent, ask for help, ask for understanding, or just talk. We are all here because we care about one another.  The folks on here have been such a calming voice for me over the last 6 or 7 months.  Sometimes you don't want to show your true feelings to your close family.  Here you can let your hair down.

I know you will continue to give Bob all the love and support that he needs.  But remember to also take care of yourself.  You will do him no good if you are not well.

Again, my prayers are with you and your family.

Jacki,
So sorry to hear the news is not better.

Please don't think you are boring anyone.....this is a good place to release your thoughts and feelings and to have a cyber shoulder to lean on.

I think it is a good sign that are going to do treatments....if they felt it too far gone they probably wouldn't do it so hang on to the hope that he can beat this.  I hope he keeps a positive attitude.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Bob.

Hi, Jacki.

Cancer is still one of those words that we all dread so much.  I am praying for strength and courage, tempered with lots of hope for both of you.
