Guess What Everyone!!!! We made it to Tuesday!!!!
So, tonight I had to spend my time working on my fantasy baseball league.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
So happy to hear that you finally got a start date and things happen right on time, you will have money to save for that big event! Though I imagine this will clip some of your travel wings, oh my what will the airlines and highways be like without you traveling all over them (lol)!
Well my day consists of work, though we are not very motivated this week, it's quiet and only half of us are in the office, yesterday we celebrated one of my attorney's birthday's with a cake. Wish they closed the office between Christmas and New Years, I could think of lots of stuff to do around here (my house), not to mention it would be nice to hang with Roxie.
So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. . .
Have a great day and for those going through tough times, I wish you peace and strength to get through.
Hugs, Laureen

Carla,
Congrats on the job, but won't that cramp your traveling style. LOL
I've been so busy for months that I haven't even had time to check in on my OFF friends, but I didn't forget you. 2010 won't be any slower for me either.
I've been nominated and approved to the church Council and will be very involved. I have assumed the chair of the Missions Committee. It should be fun, especially since Brenda and I are going on the mission trip to Nicaragua in March. We're really looking forward to it.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a Happy New Year.
Brotherly hugs,
Floyd
i had a miserable nite, ate the wrong thing and my pouch reminded me what
can happen when i eat stupid. i was up for hours and wont describe the rest, many
of us have been there.
of course as soon as i nodded off, Bob got me up , he had a problem that needed
attention.
he sees the oncologist today and needless to say we are both a bit nervous, as
this is his first appointment with her and i guess she will lay out plans for his
treatment today. Frankly im worried, he is still losing weight and his being a
difficult eater on a good day, is not helping. I am cooking again, its funny, since
he was doing most of the cooking since my surgery 3 1/2 yrs ago. sometimes, i
have to stop and think how i made something.
New Years will be quiet here, bob is not up to company yet, or i would have invited
over a friend or two. my sister may visit New Years Day, ill see how he is feeling.
Big, warm hugs to everyone, drive safe in the snow that so many have, and I hope
that 2010 is a GREAT year for everyone
oh, btw, today is our 37th anniversary, where did all the years go, hmmmmmm i wonder.
be safe and well, Jacki
