I don't have asthma and I hate to go places where there is smoking.  I really have to search to find places that have enough circulation for people that are smoking.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George...MN has a no smoking law in any building but because the place is considered closed for the party and the owner and her family smoke...she is allowing smoking inside...UUUGGGHHHH!!

Have a great day!!

Hi George and OFF family,
It's quiet here at work and I'm just sitting here listening to the peace and quiet except for me typing this!

Had a wonderful Christmas Day. SD had her boyfriend come over early to watch the kids open up gifts, then they left to go to his parents house with the grand kids in tow...all was quiet after they left. Loved it!! LOL

Spent time in the hot tub just hubby and me, watching the birds. Totally awesome sitting outside and having the snow drop on ya, watching the birds. Peaceful.

Then we went to see Avatar in 3-D...what a great movie, I loved it. Ran into a old girlfriend at the movies.

Glad you had a good holiday George, I posted to Millie's what's new, so I won't reiterate it here. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Everyone!

Trying to get some sembalance back into the house after the Holidays.  I froze some cookies. Don't want them around.  Will bring them out for New Years.

Enjoying the peace and quiet.  We had such a busy time the last few days.  Christmas stretched out each day of the weekend.  Visiting.

I hope all that need a little light in their lives gets it.  I know some of you really need it at this time.

We got about four inches of snow.  YUCK.  I hate the stuff.

My husband is home this week.  He is a pest..lol  I am going to give him little chores to do.  Keep him busy.

I finally finished my dads afghan on Christmas morning.  lol.  I had a year to do it and I waited right to the day.  Good thing I didn't see him until Sunday.   He really liked it.  Will keep him warm while he watches TV.  He didn't have anything like that.

Well, I hope all stay healthy and happy.

Hi George and my OFF family:

I was supposed to have an appointment with my psychologist at 12:30 but I woke up with the runs this morning, so I called to cancel. She hasn't called me back, so I hope she got the voicemail message. I really feel like **** ... no pun intended, really! I don't know if it's an IBS flare-up again or something else ... Saturday, when I felt like this, I was sure it was too much crap eaten on Christmas Day. Today, I didn't eat that much crap yesterday, so I don't know. I also have a headache and chills. No fever, though. So I'm still in my jammies and robe and it's snowing out and I'm staying home. Luckily, I don't have to work.

George, you sure did get a good deal on the game. I want to see "It's Complicated" and a bunch of other movies. My friend Gayle and I are going to see a movie Thursday and going out to lunch ... we haven't decided on the movie yet. I know Gayle likes historical dramas (so do I) but "The Young Victoria" is only showing at one theater and it's not the one near us. So we'll have to decide on something else. I'd like to see "The Blind Side" but she's not that much into sports, so I'm not sure if she'd like to see that movie. Or "Invictus" too ... that's supposed to be good. So we'll have to discuss our options.

I had a long chat yesterday with Joyce Stewart ... her knee is healing well along she had a problem with the internal sutures. She also still doesn't have very good flexion yet, but I guess that will come. It was good talking to her, or anyone yesterday, because I was rather blue and needed to talk ... Mary Kay was also in a big-time funk because her sister was not nice on Christmas and so Mary was depressed over her family situation and thinking of leaving Baton Rouge early (I told her it was snowing here ... that didn't cheer her up). She has no friends down there, either, so it doesn't help when your relatives don't treat you well.

Well, I need to get back under the covers again. I'm shivering here by the computer. Next one I get is going to be a laptop so I don't have to leave my recliner. Have a good day.

Good Morning George and all,

I just posted a big long winded post on Millie's post so won't take up all the space here too.
Had a very nice Christmas and now my kiddlets are back at their own homes and mom is feeling a bit sad...where did the time go....they were just babies.
My son is 31 and not my little baby anymore...
We had a very nice time together  and while I am sad, I am also happy that Tom and I have our house back and can run around naked if we want.
It is way too cold for that however, but just the thought that we could if we wanted is good enough for me!

Take care all,
Cheryl

Carl and I just got back from fishing out on Anna maria Island. That is located on Tampa Bay 9 miles west of my house in Bradenton. All he caught was a litttle King Fish and nothing else. It was so windy one would think we were in Chicago!!!!!
Well I finally start to work shifts at the hospital on January 4th. Just a week away!!!!! I am getting excited to finally be amongst adults other than my husband!!!!!
Nothing else on my plate today.
