Morning everyone!!!!
It's really early here in NY..4:45.  Today is my 7am class so I'm up and getting ready to go.
Today is my usual...school...need to go upgrade my cell phone..(ugh).  Thankfully my son will go with me , cause I'm just a technological dinosaur when it comes to phones.  We have school today and tomorrow and then a much needed break.  The kids are nuts!!! just waiting for Christmas and its toooo cold to be getting up this early.
Later I think I have more labs at my PCP in prep for this whole thyroid, parathyroid episode.
Well anyway...chatter away, I'll try to get back sometime today.

(((((((HUGS))))))) to anyone in need, prayers for those who need them...and love to all!!!!

Good morning every body!!!!

I am winding down my night. Then I work again tonight, but then off until 2AM Christmas morning.  Then off until Sunday.  Also took all night New Year's Eve off.  This will be the first time Mary and I have been together at the stroke of midnight in at least 5 years, probably more.  I normally work New Year's Eve.  I just didn't feel like it this year.  I have the vacation time, so I took it.  Besides, I cancelled our vacation for the end of March.  We probably won't go to Vegas until Thanksgiving again.

Oleta's mother is doing worse each day.  Oleta says her spirit is completely broken.  The schleroderma has now infiltrated the outside of her body and her skin is just starting to peel off, leaving the second layer of skin exposed to the air, which burns.  I pray for her suffering to ease up.

I will check back later.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George, I am keeping Oleta and her mom and family in my prayers. May God take mercy on them and wrap His loving and healing arms around them all and grant to them peace and acceptance.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning Marcy, George and OFF friends,

Well, today is the big colonoscopy day.  I probably should drink another glass of the colon prep to be sure I'm completely cleaned out.  Just had to stop around 9 p.m. last night....I couldn't handle any more of it.

George, I pray that Oleta's mom doesn't suffer any more.  Prayers going up for her and the family.

I hope this day finds you all safe, warm, healthy and happy.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Debbie

Boy, good morning... or should I say... anything but...

My son and his girlfriend had a wreck last night.  He was driving her car and a recliner fell from a Camaro in front of them onto the freeway.  Son threw on his brakes to avoid it... and got rearended pretty hard. Her car really isn't showing much damage except the tailpipe is moved in about an inch.  The car behind them took the brunt as they hit them square in the rear.  Their front end was smashed all the way into the motor.  I'm not sure it can be repaired but they do miraculous things with cars these days.  Oh, did I mention it was my brother and his wife that were following them?  Yep...now we have a 'situation'.  WHY did this happen at Christmastime?  I think I've located them a car if they can't get theirs repaired.

I lurk but rarely post.  I'm so sorry that so many are having difficulties but am in awe as to how brave and courageous those facing such traumatic events are handling them.  I guess we just get comfortable in our own moccasins and do what we have to do.

I have so little to complain about and much to be greatful for.  And we have gotten a lot of our lives back with this surgery. I'm thankful for it every day.

Well, enough.  Everyone keep some Christmas spirit.

Janet,

I'm glad only the cars got damaged. Scary none the less.

Your lurking instead of posting makes us cherish you so much more when you post.

Sorry your son had the wreck, but glad he is ok.  What was he driving that it took that much punishment?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
