Let's revue--what's new wednesday???
well-good morning!!!!
first; i erred about the garbage truck--it was the OTHER company..so ours got picked up!!living in semi-rural area i hate to leave the bags out due to wild animals!two weeks' worth of stuff and moving made 8 big bags!!! pleasant surprise to see it gone last nite!!!!!
michael's 245 surgery that was bumped to 1145 started at 245!we were in preop from 930 tho-ah well; i had nothing better to do all day!!! he came thru like a charm; doc drew an impressive pic on the chalkboard ...and will make referral for docs up north....original plan was for me to stay overnite-beautiful room he is in..but we decided early that there is soooooooooo much yet to be done here--i am not to go back til he is discharged--so i am hoping he stays till thursday-i'll get more done with him safe there!!!!hey! who smacked me? ouch!
dog sitter had no probs with my crew but they were ecstatic when i came thru that door at 9PM!we were all asleep by 9:10!!!!as i write, brody is snoring on the couch after his morning potty and some breakfast; roxie keeps trying to put her head on the keyboard so she is pretending to be mad at me!!!
so--today i hit the psot office;didn't make it yesterday..and the packing and purging continues!!!!!!! need to focus on water and protein today, too...yesterday wasnot goodin that dept even tho i was prepared...you have to put the stuff in your mouth!!!! it does no good in the tote bag!
i offered two items on freecycle-hopefully the folks pick up today--and someone may buy my stove...also today i hope!
wrapping the grands' Christmas presents to meet up with ex tomorrow also tops my list today!!!
i need some breakfast protein and to get self back to work so i'll look in later to see what's new with everyone else!!!!!

Annette so glad you are starting to see your way out of the black hole. nothing hurts like depression i dont think, then you add pain in there with it and it make the depression worse and then becomes a horrible cycle.
whats new with me? the sun shone yesterday but was bitter cold. today is suppose to be sunshine and 50 so maybe i can get outside and walk today....yeah!!!!!!
my new knee is doing ok but needs more exercise than it has been getting. i can walk the block now without pain but it gets really tired after than so need to exercise the quads more...
Margo did you ever hear anything more about the showing the other day? if it is just about thelast before walking away lower your price several thousand ....would be better to make 5000,00 than nothing right? then have the agent to get in touch with all the showings that she has done of lately and tell them you might create a bidding war then...and get more than you thought.
my christmas cactus both are blooming right on cue today....i have a red one and a pink one. they will be in full bloom by Christmas day....so pretty.
i have been trying to eat more calories lately and have finally gotten it up to 1100 a day and i got on the scale yesterday and have lost 2 pounds , but we will see if it stays off or not. my body likes to play tricks like that. down 2 up 2 , down 4 , up 4...been like that since i was about one year out.
i hope that where ever you are that you have a great day today...Margo remember it is just stuff and unless it will enhance your new life it is just stuff. i found that i can still have the great memories without the item i thought i had to save to remember it with. if you have had it packed away for more than a year and havent needed it ...then you dont need it lol easy for me to say huh?? well no this is a former pack rat talking and it took a lot for me to learn...

Margo....I am glad Michael's surgery went well and that you are able to go back home and work on your packing. You must be getting close to done by now!
Annette ...I am glad you are feeling better both emotionally and physically. It has been a tough time for you.
I was feeling better emotionally....now after I found out I won't be going to Iowa I am down again. I am trying to find some positive in this....it is just hard right now.
I need to box up some Christmas gifts and get them mailed off later today. I won't see the grandchildren until after Christmas but I want them to have their gifts on Christmas.
I really need to get back to work. I didn't get much done yesterday.
Prayers to those in need....especially Linda S...we miss you!!

are arguing over who gets to sit on my lap.Today after work I may attempt some Christmas shopping. Time to get this house looking like there is a holiday approaching too. Tom's birthday is the 24th and I have no ideas for something special this year. My daughter beat me to the punch and already got him a Kindle.
For the past few weeks I have felt too miserable to do anything constructive. Finally my back feels human, my ears, chest and sinuses are better and my emotions are starting to get in control. It's about time I had something positive to say.
