My Mom

My mom lost her valiant fight with  illness last night.  She fought so hard
and each time she made progress, she had a setback.

She had a nice long life, as some of you recall we celebrated her 90th
birthday this past August.

Thanks to all of you that have responded to all my prior posts about Mom.

My sister Judith and I are just happy that she will be resting now.

My husband is doing better by the way, he was moved to a Rehab Unit in
the Hospital and hopefully i will have him home with me in a few more
days.  He will have chemo and radiation in his future, but his spirits are
good.

Hugs to all, and since I will have a busy few days ahead, thank you in advance
to everyone.  ill try to post again when i can.

Jacki,

My thoughts and prayers are with you.  There are no words that will make it better.  But know that many of us are thinking of you, and praying for you and your family.

Jacki,
May the angels wrap you and your family in their wings and hold you close. Warm thoughts and with you.

Jacki,

I know that no matter how long the life is, when our Mothers pass on, we are saddened and feel that loss for a long time to come.  No words comfort, but your feelings that she is at peace now will carry you some and time will remind you of the good memories you have.

I wish you peace and strength now and always and hope that your husband does well with his upcoming treatments.

Hugs, Laureen

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your mom.  Wow, 90 years!  She lived a good, full life.  You are in my thoughts.  Again, my deepst sympathy!

I'm so sorry you lost her!  But what wonderful daughters she had - and what a gift to be with her as much as you could be at the end of her wonderful life.  May the care and concern of others be a comfort to you now.  We are never ready to lose our mom.
