LOL, at least with snow I'd have been home enjoying it.  Oh my gosh, this morning had to go out with DH to the surgeon (he had surgery on his left hand) and most of the roads were flooded.  I was *so* scared!  Snow is easier for me to deal with than all that standing water!

We really didn't get as much snow as they predicted, although it was cold and windy and there was a wintry mix when I left for work at 6:30 p.m. We've been calling it the big bust instead of the big blizzard. I think it might have been worse a little bit farther south and east of us. Maybe it petered out.

Cassie, I'm with you on the snow thing. . .  so long as it does not occur from the 16th to the 20th (lol)

I have to go to WalMart for more RX's.  Seems like I'm there every day.  Some of the pills have to be refilled every week, some every 30 days, and some are new that the doc called in.  Thank God for my good insurance.  But it gives me an excuse to go and spend more money than I had planned on spending.

Hi Everyone and Good morning!

Finally my daughter and I got some decorations up in the family room and kitchen.  I have a few things to put up in the dining room and living room.  It just got too late and I was getting tired to do anymore.

It is raining here now and has been all night.  It was freezing rain last night.  They say we might get snow starting this afternoon and tomorrow.  I am not happy.  lol.  I hate driving in it.

I hope everyone stays healthy and those that need prayers I am already on that.

Good morning all. Like Jani & Eileen said it is really snowing here. Got more shopping done yesterday. I think we will be staying home today. Marc has to plow today, maybe a few times. We have an old ford F 150 to do the plowing & it doesn't work if the snow is real deep. I love the truck & tried to get him to make it road ready so I could use it. He said no, I think he's afraid I'll take it over!

The snow is beautiful, as long as I stay inside. The dogs love it. They jump in the snow & disapear.(sp)

Grammy, I wish I could tell you why you are having trouble with your eyes. I had chemo, but I am sure it was a different kind. I am also wondering about Jacki. Hope all is ok.

Good morning Eileen and OFF family,
The Tree of Love Ceremony went well last night.
Still going crazy here at work, it's the busy time of the year for us.

My stepdaughter lost her job yesterday from Comcast. Sure wish the economy would pick up here in Michigan. Oh well...all of this is beyond our control and life goes on.

The weather is crazy, raining in Shelbyville and snowing in Grand Rapids then I work in Kalamazoo and they have nothing. I'm sure my drive in to work tomorrow will be hard going...just gotta watch out for the other drivers, seems like people forget how to drive in snow.

Hugs and prayers for all those in need. Now I gotta get back to work.

Rough night - MIchael was up with stomach-flu like symptoms.  Racing to the bathroom all night, poor guy.  We are trying to get ahold of his kidney doctor this morning, to make sure all is ok.  I am still at home, waiting for the doctor.  I really wanted to go to work today, it's our holiday potluck plus I was supposed to interview someone, so I'm stuck for now, at least until we talk to the doctor.

Anyway - the snow is messy enough here, but the wind that blows it is worse.  Tomorrow it's supposed to get really cold.  And in Minnesota (or MinneSNOWta) that means way below zero!  Brrrr.

Even so, it's still fun to get into the spirit of the holidays!
