What's new Wednesday?
Hi my OFF family:
I'm waiting on stories, so nothing new there. It's snowing a lot, nothing too new there. I'm dreading the ride home.
I have most of my page done at least, just one more story to fit on the page, then cut out of the top. Kinda boring from this area. The big news will be the snow ... how much will we get, how difficult will it be to drive home?

Good morning Eileen and all you other OFFers.
I have some work I really should be doing. But, I saw you started this off so I figured I would put in my two cents.
Weather is getting colder here in Texas. Will be down to 29 the next two days when I go home from work. Asked Mary to pick me up some gloves at Wally World today. The only time I wear them is when I am waiting for the car to warm up. Once the heater is blowing hot air, the gloves come off.
Wrote my verses for all our Christmas cards tonight. Printed them up. Gotta give them to Mary so she can start finishing up the task.

It is raining real hard here... and the wind is really blowing too... knocked down the inflatable Nutcracker we have on the lawn!
Still no news on my replacement... the place I am going to go work is screaming for me though... they are not happy about having that job vacant and the boss having to fill in.... don't blame him a bit.
I get off work today at 2:30 (hopefully) and need to put in a couple of hours at least in the shop... it is nice and warm here, just raining like crazy!

It is pouring rain here, been doing so for quite a while, if it were snow, I think we'd have close to a foot by now, hope you got home ok. . . and I hope we get a good snowfall here soon, just not when I leave for Florida next week.
Nothing too new going on here, just another working day, so I think I'll just say that I wish you all a good day and the strength to get through it.

It's snowing like nobody's business. I love it. Hopefully Jessica won't decide to go into labor today. I don't think I would be able to get there. They're even saying we had thunder and lightening during the snow storm early this morning. I love the snow, it's beautiful.
Eileen, you be careful driving home.

Marc, I don't blame the new department for being angry. Your department had enough advanced warning to get someone in to do your job. Hopefully the new department will continue to wait for you. Have fun in your shop today.

Well its snowing here too Jani...and cold. Snow is supposed to turn to sleet and freezing rain...yippee (she says without any enthusiasm). I hate winter anymore, just cause I'm always cold.
However, NO SCHOOL today!!! YIPPEEE (she says with lots of enthusiasm!!!) I do LOVE snow days.
Have a dr. appt at 2: 30 ..its all supposed to be over by then *the storm*.
Not much else going on here.
Stay warm everyone... better yet, just stay inside!

Got home fine ... by the time I left, it was raining or sleeting ... couldn't tell if it was freezing rain or just regular rain. There was some blac**** on the road so I didn't go the usual 70 mph on the interstate, I stuck to 40 mph. There was no one else on the road but lil ol' me. Now it's snowing/raining big ol' flakes, coming down real hard and windy. Supposed to be a nasty storm. I got to sleep about 6 a.m. ... went to bed at 5 but had problems sleeping ... my knee was really hurting last night ... I'm sure the storm had something to do with that. Got up at 12:15 p.m.
I heard reports of thundersnow in Wisconsin; I've seen it before but didn't see it this time.
Stay safe everyone ... I have no choice but to go to work; they don't cancel work for newspaper workers because the newspaper is never canceled.

morning all!
i've been up about an hour-trying to catch up on emails-the daily newsletters and horoscopes etc...
jacki has been on my mind as well and i am sending positive prayers and thoughts....so much on her plate...
it's 44* here and raining -late yesterday afternoon we had a few minutes of sleet...i guess we are under a high wind advisory today and tonite but we aren't really sposed to "get" any of teh weather that is west or north- we'll see--i am about certain we'll have nasty stuff the 18th, 19th and 20th while we are moving!
michael has PT this morning and i have a few phone calls-arrangements about things- and then packing...my go**** never stops!
did i tell you about his aneurism suregry finally being scheduled??? next tuesday-just a few days before our move-durnit all anyhow! so he is trying to kick butt this week to get things done but the heavy work will be next week and he won't be able to--not sure who IS gonna!!!!k-quit my *****in..he needs this surgery to be done-and at an unfamiliar hospital to boot!
i'll check back later -maybe i'll have something positive to add by then!!

There's not much going on around here and today I'll just be on the run doing errands. I need to get some Christmas cards so I can get going on sending out our greetings this year.
