OT--- Grace and Maude

Grace had lost her husband, and after six months could not bear life without him. She wanted to join him, but didn't know quite how to do it. She decided that since her heart was already broken, she would use his gun to shoot herself through the heart.

But, she wasn't exactly sure just where her heart was, so she went next door to her friend Maude's house. Maude was a retired nurse, so certainly she would know where Grace's heart was. Not wanting to put Maude in a bad situation, and tell her why she wanted to know. Grace asked Maude where her heart was.

"Well, it's behind your left breast" said Maude.

Two hours later, Maude heard sirens coming down the street. She ran out to find Grace on a gurney being lifted into the ambulance. "Oh my", cried Maude. "What on earth has happened to Grace? Has she had a heart attack?"

"No", replied the paramedic, "she shot off her left knee cap"

I'm betting Grace had WLS!
