SUNDAY, WHAT'S NEW?

Good Morning.  Well, it's barely morning here on the West Coast. 

I'm off to bed.  Thought I'd check to see if anyone had started the thread and no one has -- so here I am.

thanks for starting the thread.  its almost 5 a.m. in New Jersey and ive been up for
almost an hour.  I cant sleep much, the assisted living called last nite to say that
they dont expect mom to survive the night, so im expecting a phone call early this
morning.

its a sad time, but mom deserves to be at peace and rest now. i will post when
i have more news

hubby is coming along, he is all doped up with pain meds though, so doesnt make
an awful lot of sense when i see him or talk to him.

Nothing I can say will help you feel better.   You are in my prayers.   This is a hard time you are facing,  the waiting.   I sat with my mom the 72 hr before she passed knowing she was going  It was hard.     I hope you both find peace.

I am gearing up to fly to chicago on friday. I hope the storm that Michigan wont interfere in my trip. Ill only be up there till Sunday.
I start my new job on Monday the 14th.
Margo you are going to be moving on my Birthday. I forgot my birthday is on a Sunday.

Good morning...just a quick hello...Jacki, I wish you and your Mother peace......she is going to a better safer place.....no more suffering....no more struggling. And you won't have the daily worry about her.

Getting ready to go to Mass, however we are going early today at 10:00 am for Santa's Breakfast at Church. They also have a little house just for children to buy their parents a gift and they wrap it. The same couple has played Mr. and Mrs. Claus for many years and they sure look good.

I  am supposed to go to an open house this afternoon for my girlfriends daughter who makes jewelry.....maybe I can pick up a present there.

Last Friday we went to a show at the Overture Center called Step Afrika.....it was an incredible evening of young people and the dancing was amazing. All these young people in this group must have a college degree and they were simply amazing dancers.
