Jan sorry about your husband.  I am glad he went to the ER>  That is the safest thing he could have done.  The stress is on you.  Take care.

Laureen, You need time to heal.  That lonliness doesn't go away for a long time.  He was your baby and part of the family.  I understand your loss and feelings.

Jacki,  I hope everything goes well with the surgery.  You have my prayers and so does everyone else.

It is almost Christmas and I have done a little shopping.  It will be here before we know it.  I would like to bake a lot of cookies this year, anyone have some good recipes?  I would like to try something different.

off work today so will get some bills paid and then back home to do more decorating which didn't get done last nigh****ched Christmas Vacation...omg what a funny movie!!!! its on AMC all week if you want to see it.

weather here is 41 and cloudy at the moment....calling for heavy rain and mixed with snow later on. guess i would rather see snow than rain...atleast you don't get as wet with snow as you do rain especially when you have to take bandit out and he takes forever to go potty!!!!

haven't talked to mom yet today....waiting a bit so when i talk to her she has already seen the dr and will have something to tell me on what is happening. she told me yesterday that if she is better today she might be able to go home but dr would rather her stay another day so we shall see what happens today. i do feel better about this but still i long to be there for her. rick said he wishes she would come back here to stay with us but she won't. said she would feel intruding on us. so atleast we tried getting her here.

well time to get ready to go pay bills and be broke once again....going for a week with no pay is going to suck next week for sure!!! pay day would be friday and i get no vacation pay.....still don't think that is right at all!!!! but we will survive as usual....

Morning Off
Pretty day here in Mich but its cold   Think its gonna stay that way now for a few months.  First thing Prayers for all with health issues or family with health stuff going on.   Sometimes it seems like prayers aren't working  but we know they aren't hindering either.  Prayers also for those who are hurting from loss or facing possible loss.   That's not easy  and there isn't  much we as friends can do as friends but express sympathy and offer to be there.  The four most useless words in the human language  at the time of loss are "What can I do"
My day today consists of shrink sessions for my two small charges then a court appearance for contempt of court because I refuse to take one of my little ones to jail to see her abuser.  Might go to jail this time.  Can only flout the law so many times.    Monster gran pa just wants to terrify my little one into silence at court next week.     Maybe I am getting to old for this nonsense.   Never thought Id admit that!

You and Gary are in my thoughts.
I am supposed to hear when I start my job....This waiting is killing. I am willing and able to go to work. I hope I am starting on Monday but we shall see. It might not be till the 14th. That will be ok with me cause I am flying to chicgo for the weekend on the 11th and flying back on the 13th. Itis my daughters 28th birthday and I want to spend the day with her. I also want to see her engagement ring. Can you tell I am excited!!!!!

I'm going to dinner tonight with 3 of my high school friends.  We graduated nearly 40 years ago (our reunion is next summer!) in 1970.  We get together every year for dinner.  It will be fun.  I know to order appetizer or soup or to plan to take lots home with me!

It's busy here at work, we are in the mist of doing the Tree of Love fund raising here at Borgess Hospital. All proceeds go to young women without insurance to help pay for their mammograms. It's a good cause, but lots of work behind the scenes.
