Recipe for Low Carb Mock Cinnamon Danish
Mock Cinnamon Danish
2 ounces of cream cheese - soften in microwave then add the following:
1 egg or egg substitute
1-2 teaspoons of Splenda
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla or SF Da Vinci vanilla syrup
Microwave again for 1-2 minutes
Topping:
1 teaspoon of butter
1/2 teaspoon of Splenda
Add cinnamon
Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute
Pour the topping over the above mixture - YUMMY - Hope you all enjoy!

The consistency is soft, almost like a firm scrambled egg, but it's good. I made it this morning, but only had like 2 teaspoons or so. It has a great taste and would definitely cure the urge for a cinnamon danish. Not sure about the nutritional value. I made mine with egg substitute instead of the egg. I still have plenty left since I only had a few bites, so I refrigerated it. If you try it, let me know what you think.
