Wow < Nancy I am out of breath just reaing your post.  I think a little more of the craziness and you will be settled down.  You might be bored after all of this and you're rested..  Ok , maybe not bored.

Going to meet my dad for breakfast this morning.  He gets a Turkey from the teamsters and he is giving it to me this year.  I am thankful it has been a rough year.  Then off to visit my in-laws for the afternoon.  We will eat dinner there and play cards they love to play cards.

Not much else is going on, Oh I forget to say 9am I go to church.  You should see our church there is a cornfield in front of and you can't even see it.lol  I always think that is funny.  I don't know yet if the corn was cut, then you can see part of the church.

FOr two years we lived on the same street as the amish.  I loved to watch them gather for church on Sunday.  All the horse and buggies and the children dressed in their best outfits and the little boys with straw hats.  There would be tons of buggies at the house across the street from us.  Their services lasted most of the day.  I loved living there.  It was a beautiful scene.  I miss it.

Well prayers to all of you and keep well during this flu season.  Some of you seemed to be running ragged.  Take your vitamins!

That's really nice your dad is giving you a turkey.  We got a free one from the grocery store we shop at because we spent $300 there within such and such period of time.  Your church has a cornfield in front of it!  That is funny.  :)  Our church is across the street from the elementary school my grandson went to.

Yep, we picked up turkey lurkey and now we are ready for Thanksgiving.  Yes the Church is surrounded by cornfields and you wouldn't even know it was back there.  There is a sign though.  It is cute.

Mary

Glad you got a free turkey too!

Geez o pete.  I'm now exhausted and all I've done is read your post Nancy.  I was busy like you...once... :)  Now I'm enjoying the good life of retirement.  We went out yesterday on our Harleys.  It was a beautiful day around 50*.  Today is going to be the same so we may get out again.  Thursday and Friday they're calling for snow though, so reality is coming.
Today we're going onto the roof to put some heat cable to keep the ice buildup from happening.  Ah, northern Michigan.
Happy Sunday to everyone!

Good morning OFF...
Everyone is so busy.  I'm home just taking it easy.
Margo...I did see the Dr. on Friday and low and behold he listened..then sent me to the ER for tests.  It seems that my abdominal pain is caused by colitis.  Not ulcerative, but infectious.  I've been on an antibiotic for bronchitis and its killed all the good bacteria in my gut...so now the bad bacteria has started an infection in my intestines and in my colon.  How lovely...so I'm on another antibiotic Flagyl...to help the good stuff grow.
  I'm miserable..eating is iffy...and tired.
But, the pain is now bearable...so I'm definitely on the mend.

Hope everyone has a great week end...I work Monday and Tuesday and then Thanksgiving will be here at my house.

  Keep smiling...
