I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Jeanne,

Thank goodness you are on your way back to health!  We've been worried about you.  Sorry you will be a person that gets written about, but then again, I can't think of a better person to have them do it about, perhaps you can help them edit it (lol). . .

Have a wonderful day and hope that each day finds you further from being sickly and weak.

Take care, Laureen

Oh wow, I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time!  I'm glad to hear that the feeding port is helping.  You'll be getting a revision?  Will send healing thoughts and prayers your way!

I am so glad to hear they hav found something to help you, but really darlin, at 101 pounds, I doubt you will be doing much spreading. As aweful as the condition is, I am glad it is not related to your WLS. Good to hear your color is improving. Hang in there

Glad you are doing better ... I have been thinking about you and wondering what you have been doing. I know what has happened has been rough, but at least this is a plan to get your health back. Best wishes to your returning to health.

Good morning, ya'll.

I sure hope everyone gets to feeling better, has a great time at your jobs (old and new), and drives carefully in your travels.

Our son and grandson made their annual pilgrimage to WV for deer hunting yesterday.  Our DIL and the other grandson decided to stay home.  They don't hunt anyway.  SOOO, depending on weather, how tired they are and if the deer are plentiful, they MAY be back to have Thanksgiving on Thursday, or we could be having it on Friday, Sat or Sun.  Makes no difference to me, just give me 24 hour notice.

Also, our son got the word that he made CWO4.  WooHoo!!  Hopefully he can pin it on the first part of next month!  He has been a Marine for 25 years.

Our daughter has already purchased her airline tickets to CA for the Rose Bowl.  They are such avid Duck fans, and ever positive!  If the Ducks don't make it, the family will have a mini CA vacation.

Today I'm off to ECU to have a CT scan and get 'marked' for radiation.  For some reason I have to go back next week, too to have the marks tweeked.  I just LOVE that drive, and sitting in Dr's offices, NOT!  I also have a bunch of stuff in my trunk for the Hope Lodge.  They put out a 'wish list' of things they need.  My DIL and I tried to get some of the stuff we thought would be most helpful.

Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Grammy,

Congratulations and good wishes on your son's promotion!  Thank him for me for all that him and those of the armed services do to keep us safe!

Hope all goes well for you with regards to your ECU visit.

Hugs, Laureen
