What are we eating-SUNDAY?
Hello, OFF Family!
My biggest problem today was remembering to eat! Who’da thunkit?? When I’m busy, I do tend to forget to eat…mostly because, for some great miracle, I no longer feel hunger, three years after surgery! I still get HEAD HUNGER but no "tummy growlies".
And because I spent the day with Mother, all I had was a glass of water there until I got home at 7pm…man was I ever tired! And so I sat down and just didn’t want to get up and cook anything. My sweet DS, Derek, came in and reheated the chicken primavera left from yesterday and made salads....still I couldn’t eat….had a banana later on and then some soup….just too tired to eat.
This is my menu plan for Sunday:
B Matrix hot chocolate protein drink made with extra skim milk low fat milk powder to increase the protein content
S banana stuffed with low fat peanut butter
L homemade soup
S taking cheddar cheese & multigrain crackers with me
D roast chicken and veggies
S homemade soup
SUPPLEMENTS:
multiple vitamin
iron
magnesium
VB1, B6, B12

I have days where I sort of forget to eat and then I get agita. I seem to have hyper-worries about protein and vitamins, LOL.
Menu Plan for Lunch and Dinner (already had breakfast):
L: ham & swiss roll up
S: 8-12 oz. lemon tea protein
D: pork shoulder roast w/home made barbecue sauce
string beans
whole grain rolls
S: cookies & cream protein drink
Protein bar
For breakfast, my son made me: fried egg and 2 thick slices of sausage
Sometimes if I get a little hungry I'll nibble at a handful of mixed nuts or a hunk of cheddar cheese.
Vitamin Supplements:
B-12
Biotin
Vit A
Vit D
Chewable Multi with extra ADEK
Iron
Calcium
Omega 3 chewable
Nancy, with your vitamins, do you get them from a store? If you do, how did you know which ones were absorbable? How do you know how much magnesium & potassium to take? Same thing with your separate vits? Thanks!
