No time for me to rest until I have surgery in 2 weeks.....then I'll be taking it easy for about 4 weeks.

Are you having WLS in 2 weeks or another kind of surgery?  Nothing like forced rest, huh?  ;)

Hi!
No I'm not having WLS I'm having another round of Plastic Surgery.  I'm actually at goal.  I did not have WLS...I lost 162+ lbs via healthy eating and exercise but the gang here lets me play along with them.

How about you, have you had your surgery?

Wow, Nancy you sure are one busy lady.    When I had to take a stress test last spring, I was able for the first time to use the treadmill and I passed......thank you WLS!

Off to work this morning....cleaning angel will be here while I'm gone and I'll come home to a sparkling clean house.....yes!  Went out to Walmart yesterday afternoon (usually try to go early in a.m.) and of course no handicap parking places -- one lady was just getting ready to pull out so I stopped and waited, well someone else from the other direction had the same idea and quickly pulled their vehicle into the spot......I was so upset, I gave her a dirtly look and went home!   Guess I wasn't supposed to be there.

DS called from I-94 on their way home from Detroit Metro airport.
Had a good flight home and got their luggage and thru customs rather quickly....they were tired but had a great time and eager to get home to see their doggie.

Found a recipe for a pumpkin pecan pie that is "crustless".  Takes 1/2 cup of bisquick to make a little crust.....I will substitute splenda for the sugar and use fat free evaporated milk === should get the calories down to about 180 per piece.  I found it by googling pumpkin pecan pie and it's a Betty Crocker recipe.....really easy.

Better get my oatmeal now -- exercise will have to be this afternoon as I've spent too much time on the computer.....bad girl!

Have a great friday -- sending good thoughts and prayers to all.

Morning Nancy & the Rest of my earlybird OFFr's, as well as those not yet posted. . .

Nancy, I must say, you have the energy of someone in their 20s, I mean I think sometimes I am busy, but you put me to shame (lol). . .  I am thrilled that your Mom is going to be in a place that you are comfortable with and hopefully you will have peace in that aspect of your busy life.  Hope all testing comes back good.

Ok, so my day is simply work, then come home take Dillinger for his follow-up appointment where they will look at the surgical wound, redress it, though probably better off without it, as he thinks it is something to chew off and so the halo collar has to be on all the time now, because even with us in the same room he wants to chew it off, but this is good because it means he is healing and I have to say, he is back to his usual self.  Thanks all for your support.

Ok, so I'm off to work, I'll check back as my day permits.

Have a great day!  Wishing you peace and strength to deal with all that life presents you with and hoping that most of that is good stuff!

Hugs, Laureen

Horndog husband is now living with me again.  He's so happy to be here and not have to live out of a laundry basket anymore with our son.  He can now sit around in his boxers again without worry.  Happy happy camper.
Wow, Nancy, I get tired just reading your posts.  If I only had half of your energy.  Hubby is cleaning out our front hall closet right now.  He can't sit still and drives me crazy.  He keeps wanting me to pick up and help.  What's with that???
Today we're going to Goodwill to take some coats, to the humane society to take some blankets and afghans for the doggies.  Then to Sam's club to buy me my goal size 10 jeans and then who knows, maybe a new flat screen TV.
Then home to go through my dressers again.  Maybe I should do that first so I can take things to the Good will.  Did you save any big sizes just in case?  I might save some 16's.
Off to get something done now.
Take care all.

jan...i bought those size 12 jeans a few months' back-wore them a few days-tight at work with all that sitting!- went back to my comfy 14's and they are getting loose again--i have kept one pair of 16's in case---now remember i have yet to get to goal--am still 50 # from it--but 1 pair just in case is not a bad thing-specially if , like me, you are on the cusp of a size.......jmho!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
