What are we eating- THURSDAY?
Hello, OH family!
I was supposed to be stress-free Wednesday because I have a stress test on Thursday so my computer died Wednesday evening..oh joy! Somehow I’d managed to pick up a bad virus. So Wednesday was spent driving into the city to buy a new NORTONS 2010 and while I was in the store, I also bought several Christmas gifts..yayy… I'm started!
Then I dropped in to see mom and take her some things..she seems much better except I can see that her memory is failing more. She still doesn’t know about her surprise Afternoon Tea for her 90th birthday…she thinks that she is getting her hair cut and permed and her footcare done and then we will have a family portrait taken s. I’m really hoping that some of my Quebec relatives show up with their fiddles and guitars ..what a great party that would be.
Well, today, I am driving back to Burlington for my stress test…I havent been on a treadmill ever and not on a bicycle since I was a teenager so this will be interesting! I imagine that my lymphodemic legs and arthritic knees will cause an issue but I intend to at least make the supreme effort.
This is my Thursday menu:
B Matrix hot chocolate protein drink made with low fat skim milk powder to increase the protein content
S banana stuffed with low fat peanut nutter
L unsure..if JB decides to come along and drive, we will stop at Red Lobster or something similar for a late lunch…otherwise I will have a bowl of home made beef, vegetable & barley soup when I get home
S yogurt with granola and berries
D having supper with Mother…..her retirement place is hosting a "soup & sandwich" buffet and encourage families to attend…...I will roll Mother down in her new wheelchair to participate
S unsure..depends on the day’s protein consumption
