since i spent my weekend with my nephew i was thinking of you two today and hoping all is better at your house! i know there were some rough spots-not necessarily jordan related! i know you are working toward resolving them and moving forward! sometimes sending your thoughts and cares off to someone else is all you need!~*~
sending hugs to your house!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Awe Margo, I was just coming here to make a post.

The latest saga, happened last Saturday. I took him to a restaurant, down by the river, that has a circular dinning room with windows all around to where you can eat and watch the river traffic. This was great, and Jordan loved eating and watching the river barges go by.

The mind boggling thing, is that we had to park in a parking garage, and then walk in a glass enclosed bridge, above the road to get to the restaurant. Well, if we are above the road, you know what we have to do to get to the restaurant. Go down an escalator.

When we got there I heard a WOOO as Jordan saw his first escalator. How in this day and age can a boy of 10, not have seen an escalator? He stopped at the top and paused, and I told him to hold the rail, and step on. He looked at me with a very big grin, grabbed the rail, and jumped with both feet. Wooooooooooo all the way down to the bottom. We had dinner, and then we had to go back up. He stepped back a few feet, then ran, grabbed the rail and jumped as far as he could. Woo all the way up. All went well. I wish I had a camera at the top of the escalator to take that pic. I thought, what the hey, lets do it again. No one around, down we went and back up.  Made his day, and also cheap.

Margo,we need all the hugs we can get. Keep them coming...John
Don't blame me. I voted for Sarah......

I love hearing of your adventures with Jordan!! The escalator ride was soooo exciting for him...I could just hear that in your post.
