Monday, Monday - I trust that day - What's New Revue
Hey all, decided to start this today. I guess you can tell I am bored at work.
Been working on my bills, trying to see how much money I have to go toward car repairs. I think it is looking pretty good. So I must be missing something. LOL
Pretty somber day here at work. A co-worker committed suicide Saturday night. Shot himself in front of his wife. Geez. Don't know what got into him. Decent guy. Him and I did not exactly get along, but he was a good enough guy. Free spirit. Rode a motorcycle. Bald head, beard. Big earrings. Not my style, but he was okay with it. He worked here 9 years. Moved on up the ladder until he got a job taking him off the phones, which made him very happy. Prayers for his wife please.
Yesterday, November 15th, I went to Eddie's football game in shorts. Gee, weather is strange. Today it is not supposed to get out of the 50's. Weather roulette.
Finally decided on Thanksgiving this weekend. At my son's house. I am cooking the turkey. And baked beans. I have not told them, but I will also bring stuffed mushrooms (which my son loves). Also, debating about making Chex Mix. And Mary may make a couple of pies. Can't do too much, as we can not take any leftovers, as we are leaving the next day.
Just 13 days before I get to see Jan C.

Well, it's Monday morning already. I'm up and at 'em early, so I'll get a good start with work. Thanksgiving is next week already....geez, where does the time go? We're having dinner here and I'm looking forward to spending time with family. It's always such a joyous time.

I work for a fairly big firm. We have about 150-175 people in customer service. We had one person pass away about 6 years ago. No one since then. Now we have lost two people on the same team in one week. One died of bone cancer, and now this. Wow. Told the supervisor I don't want to work for him.

I am sort of up but not really. It 5am and I have this internal clock that says get up!!!!!
I am heading up to Lake City to the support group today around 1130. It takes 4 hours to drive there. I usually stay with my friend overnight but I think Ill come back tonight cause I may have to do some stuff for the new job tomorrow. I should here someting today. I hope to start next week.
We are going to a restaurant for T-Giving. 10 of us cousins are getting together.
I am flying to chicago on December 11th to be with our daughter for her 28 birthday on the December 12th. Then Ill fly back on the night of the 13th.
Nothing else new in my world.

george; i am sorry to read this news of your co-worker today..wow...
folks i have lots to tell ya but have to get to work soon and am absolutely freakin exhausted- tonite my mom is still here and we need to pack her car with more stuff to go north (she's leaving in the morning when i go to work) so i won't be able to really touch base til sometime tomorrow--
i have read NO POSTS yet so i need to catch up on all of your lives- i scanned the titles and will anxiously look at grammy lew's post about holiday cards!
we had an offer on the house--it is absolutely SO NOT ACCEPTABLE that i won't go into details here but will tell you whenever i get a chance to update--
have really missed all y'all ...

George I am so sorry to hear about your co-worker. We had a tragedy at the Middle School that I work at. We have had lots of flu and sickness..one of our handicapped 7th graders passed away on last Thursday. We really have no details except that we were told it was of natural causes. He was a very friendly and out going student and will be missed by all.
This is the fourth student of mine that has passed since I began teaching some 34 years ago. Its the one part of my job that I hate.
Well everyone have a great Monday...its cold here and its really early..but I have a 7 am class..so off I go!!!!
Keep smiling people...it makes everyone else wonder what you are thinking about or what kind of mischief you're up to!!!!!
