What are we eating - MONDAY?
Well I managed to stay pretty good yesterday at the birthday party....no cake....no cookies….didn’t touch the chips, candies and booze. I drank cranberry juice (sugar-free)…she had a crockpot of homemade soup & buns with meats, cheeses & and a veggie tray & a shrimp ring. So it was fairly easy for me.
When we got home, I had a nap because, for some reason, I didn’t get more than two hours sleep Saturday night. Then I got up, made a huge pot of homemade beef, vegetable & barley soup for the week, caught up on some reading, and took care of Karie & LilyRose (like they would allow me to NEGLECT THEM?****il JB and Derek came inside for the night from the shop.
This is my Monday plan:
B Matrix hot chocolate protein drink made with low fat skim milk for extra protein
S 2 hard-boiled eggs mashed with low fat mayonaise, minced green onions and eaten on multigrain crackers
L low fat cottage cheese w? unsweetened crushed pineapple
S banana stuffed with low fat peanut butter
D home made beef, vegetable & barley soup
S more soup

Supper was ground beef with Ragu and Ricotta cheese. Even DH liked it without spaghetti. I'm looking forward to a hot cup of chai tea later.
Tomorrow is my official weigh in day, I hope the metal box has moved! But if not that's OK. As DH says it is what it is and it will change!
So I worked out for an hour+ this morning.....but I have not accomplished much else today, I am very sluggish. Still surprised the wine is not a problem, but the cigarettes are.
I have taken all my supplements and mostly had only shakes, salads and squash soup today. I have upped my H2O to hopefully help with weight loss.
I do feel smaller and my belly feels a little flatter, so all I can hope is that this is a solid 4 pounds and it is muscle.
I am weary and I am going to bed.....Hope you all sleep tight.

S - Tiny sliver of Pumpkin Pie - 2 oz.
So far I've had a cup of tea, no sugar added hot chocolate, 20 oz. diet snapple raspberry tea and 20 oz. water. I'm going to try to get in another 20 oz. water before the day is through.
I ran errands at lunch so I didn't get my mile in on the treadmill at the gym at work. Will try to do that at home right after dinner.
