it was 70* yesterday!!!!! awesome!!!!! a teensy windy but beautiful....
two days in a row i have gone to Goodwill ( at two diff locations) looking for two things--1st day i totally flunked! but spent $21 on stuff i had to have! yesterday, i did manage to find a part of what i wanted- am looking for simple sheer curtain panels cheap found one panel- and spent $50 after the senior discount cuz michael was along!!!! all on stuff we had to have!!! goodness sakes i need to just go pay retail and be done i guess! am looking for a flannel nightgown-just an old fashioned flannel--gave mine away when i THOUGHT we would be gone in october- and am not even finding them in stores- guess i need to shop kohls or somewhere...
hoping to hear from my realtor today on the second showing--probly not so soon i'd guess....
tomorrow i pick up my rental truck and start filling it!
boss man told us yesterday that we can take day after Thanksgiving off so long as we cover the hours or do without pay...so--for the next two weeks, i continue going in early.....thankful that i can but tired nonetheless!
nothing really interesting at our house- i'll check back later...
sending hugs and prayers to all of you .....wanting an update on george and mary and macon!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning Margo and Everyone.......
Margo...I wish the Goodwill here had some nice things...seems like there is a lot of larger sizes and way outdated clothes. I can never find pants there.Size 0-3 just don't exist there?????? We have a Savers and once in a while I can find something there.Oh well...I just hit the clearance racks instead. I need winter clothes bad....time to go shop!!!
As for me....I am doing okay...feeling a little better today...I will keep plugging along!!
My daughter Jamie, SIL Travis, Nic and Gracie were in their Suburban Saturday and a deer ran out in front of them. They are all okay...they barely felt the bump. Of course the truck is not drivable....just what they needed! They have a $500 deductible to pay for the repairs. I sure wish I had it to give them. I know this is such a hardship for them. Especially with the holidays coming up. Say some prayers for them please. They need that truck for the long drives to get Nic to treatments and to doctor appointments.
I best get back to work....lots of calls to make. I am glad tomorrow is a paid holiday and I don't have to work!!!
Prayers to those in need...there are several here that need them for sure! I haven't forgotten about Linda S ....special prayers to her everyday!!
Love and hugs to all....connie d

Good morning. I guess I will start with Mary's doctor's appointment. We sat and talked quite a bit. The doc says she does have Idiopathic Parkinson's. I looked it up on line. They don't know what causes it. And of course there is no cure. The speed at which it affects the person varies. So, we will live just one day at a time, enjoying each day she is "normal". She also has been having sleep problems. As in not sleeping. You people think I stay on the go, she gets less sleep than me. So the doc told her he wants her to do sleep deprivation Friday night. Do not go to bed until 11PM Saturday. Then, each morning when she gets up, she is to go sit on the porch for 30 minutes, so her body knows the sun is up and her day is starting. No TV one hour before going to bed. We'll see what that does for her.
Now to Macon. We got to the vet and saw Macon. Of course, Mary loves him. We had to wait while they removed 15 stitches. He got into a fight with another dog, and did not fight back. At least we know he is not aggressive. He does not appear to be housebroken well. So for now, we are using a belly wrap on him when he is in the house. We'll see what happens, we have a few days to check him out.
Thanks for asking, sorry I went on and on.
