What are you eating- TUESDAY?

Good morning, everyone!

Monday evening’s LifePath group went very well…..a lot of confirmations and questions answered.  I’d stopped in on the way there to see Mom and to give her the weekly pill that I keep so she doesn’t get it mixed up with the daily pills she takes. For some reason, she was sure that this pill was to be taken MONTHY, not weekly…oh my! Well, I convinced her that she could take it, sat and chatted a while, made her a cup of tea, washed her dishes, and said our goodbyes , taking her empty meal containers away since the staff doesn’t seem to bother.

I have a 9 am dental appointment this morning….oh joy! Quite truthfully, I’d rather have a PAP test ANYDAY than a dental appointment so you KNOW how bad THAT is for me…ick! I do dread needles in my mouth. I’m getting a crown and mini-bridge to replace the only tooth I’ve ever lost (except wisdom teeth). They want a $1600.00 down payment first…shee****hat hurts..literally!

From the dentist, I go to the Health Building to apply for Mother’s new HEALTH CARD…...this will be fun..downtown, tight parking, long lineups and me with an aching mouth. Sorority tonight too. The theme is APRONS!

This is Tuesday Meal Plan so far:

S may not get a snack today due to being out and dental work

Nancy, I'm with you on the dentist!  AGH,,,,,REALLY don't like them at all

I've realized that I do so much better asking for forgiveness than permission, so instead of posting my plan for the day today, I'm waiting until tomorrow to post what I ate. Works better for me with my hectic schedule.

See ya tomorrow!

Janet,
I have not heard of the Potato Noodle Soup.  Will you send me the recipe?  I love regular potato soup with cheese.
Thanks,
JOY

Joy,

There really is no recipe.  I just take a potato and boil the hell out of it, sma**** in the potato water but leave some chunks, add some salt, pepper, butter, and add egg noodles like my granny used to make.... that's flour and egg rolled out and cut into noodles and put in with the potatoes, potato water, salt, pepper, butter, and then when the noodles are done and chewy, I add a little milk.  Was raised on it.

That sounds delicious.  I will try it. I have never made noodles.   I know potatoes and noodles is full of starch but, it sure sounds good!  Thanks for telling me how to make it.

I'm tellin' ya, it's SOLID starch.... and that's the first of the wonderfully evil stuff I've had in 5 years... and it went down WAY too easy...

But I didn't feel good and my Dotty was hugging me with every bite!!
