Info on the Pouch Party I went to in Maryland
I thought I'd post the link for those who might want to glance at the website and see exactly what a Pouch Party is. I am in the green striped shirt sitting at the table. This is the most awesome idea that Nikki had. She was delightful and an excellent cook.
The three-bean salad is an awesome dish that I just had to make for myself today. If anyone is interested, I'll post the recipe. YUM!
I'm thinking about hostessing a Pouch Party; however, I really don't know that many bariactric people yet....although I am beginning to meet a variety of people now face-to-face from different states. Attending the NY Conference made such an impact on my life. Meeting such lovely people at the Pouch Party yesterday was so much fun.
I've decided that in order to be successful, getting involved and staying involved is crucial for me.
Have a great Sunday!

Italian Three Bean Salad
1 can red kidney beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can cannelini beans, drained
1 small red onion, diced
About 6 string cheese sticks, sliced into discs
1 small cucumber, diced
1 small tomato, diced (I used grape tomatoes halved and quartered)
1 cup of Ken's Light Northern Italian Dressing
Salt and pepper to taste (I didn't need salt or pepper in mine)
Directions: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Let refrigerate for an hour. Note: It's best if left overnight and served the next day.
