What are we eating, SUNDAY?
Hello, everyone!
I had a great visit today with my cousin Mike, his wife and two kids……well, not kids anymore…the once babe in arms has become a first year high school athelete…I hadn’t seen them all since dad’s funeral 15 years ago. Sure was great to reconnect. Mike brought his Dad’s (Mom’s baby brother) army coat complete with medals and his army paybook…imagine the history in that!. My Uncle Eddie, Mike’s father, was one of those troops liberating Holland…...right in Amsterdam where my husband grew up and saw the troops come ….JB might even have seen my uncle there!
Well, I remained true to my eating plans….even refrained from nibbling cookies while serving tea at Mom’s room. yayy!
Sunday, I lead my LifePath groups…mentoring three young women 2-4 pm and three more from 6-8pm.
I can’t promise that I can do this post every day…..my life is hectic and my hours insane but I will contribute as much as I can.
This is my meal plan for Sunday:
B Matrix Hot Chocolate protein drink made w/ low fat milk powder
S cheese & crackers
L homemade high protein soup
S taking banana (required daily by doctor) & a piece of cheese
D unsure since I eat out or at my friend’s house between classes (I use her office for the LifePath groups)
S LF cottage cheese & unsweetened crushed pineapple
DAILY SUPPLEMENTS:
multiple vitamin
iron
magnesium
VB1, B6, B12
Vitamin A
vitamin C
vitamin D
vitamin E
Omega oils
calcium citrate
1 fluid pill with potassium
and 3-4 litres of water
Nancy B & Rufus(my pouch)I was going to start doing this myself, so we can tag team it. I might not always have time for it in the morning, but as long as one of us does it we can keep it going! Or, maybe it will turn out like the What's Happening thread and whoever gets to it first will start it? That would be very nice!
Today's food it up in the air as Sunday's usually are. Can't say there really is a "plan" so I think I'll just edit this evening. We're going to the symphony at 3:00 today, so that puts a wrench in the daily routine, but a nice one, though.
Edit:
Here we go!
All supplements, two protein drinks and all water, done!
bkfst: machaca(Mexican scrambled eggs, in this case, eggbeaters, and shredded meat), 3/4 ww mini bagel
Lunch: yogurt w/ cottage cheese
Dinner: Vietnamese chicken spring rolls 1 1/2 (they're steamed, not fried) 3/4 fortune cookie.
Not quite 900 cals, and not sure if I'm going to eat anything else. If I do, it might be some popcorn..
See ya tomorrow!
Susan
Popcorn is good but I don't have it every day. Too afraid of getting hooked on it.
Here's my usual day
B - cottage cheese, Kashi Go Lean, berries
L - green salad & deli ham
S - apple & peanut butter
D- chicken of some sort & green beans
B oatmeal w/ cranraisins 1bacon
S or meal #2 protein bar
L chili w/ cheese
S or meal #4 ???
D borscht
S or meal #6 ???
I have lots of running around to do and that concerns me for my eating. I can bring snack foods full of protein but is that a meal? (insert sigh)
