Fort Hood shooting....

12 dead, another 31 shot... by a Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan..... supposed to be one of ours...

So sad.... these poor soldiers are in a facility preparing them to go to war and get shot at... and one of their own officers opens fire on them at home.

I am sad beyond words... my heart goes out to them.

JUst got home to see the news.  It is so sad.   I am praying for all the families.

We have a nephew stationed at Fort Hood.   My sister inlaw has been trying to get ahold of him.  She's hoping since they are on lock down they can't get to cell phones etc.   
We are sending our prayers to all the families.

 I was at Madigan Army Hospital when I heard the news.  WOW....  we sat in stunned silence as the news came over the TV....   I'm sure security will be tighter than ever....

My ex DIL & 4 grandaughters are in Kileen. Sheb called me as soon as she could.We are still good friends. So far they all are ok. She was talking  to Her BF when the shooting happened . We keep begging her to come home with the kids. Maybe this will convince her.

I, too, was touched by this tragedy. The ma who allegedly is the gunman is a PSYCHIATRIST!! That's my field, and to have a member of this group snap like that is very sad and scary. We are supposed to be trained to DEAL with things, and ask for help for ourselves when WE are in trouble.

I am waiting to hear the whole story IF IT COMES OUT. So many times they put a hush hush on such things.

So very sorry for family, friends, and victims.
