really mixed up day
ok- so--our 9 am showing cancelled-well, postponed - phone call at work at 8 am--one of the (prospective buyer) folks' father had a stroke last nite so they want to reschedule- certainly understand the concept ! and glad to hear "reschedule" not cancel out! so--we have a clean house!for a few minutes!
talked to carla at 630 am and she was on the road-promised she'd call at 5pm to tell me where she was....and planned to stop to sleep in kentucky-good cuz i don't want her driving the whole trip straight thru...
anyhow- at noon i called my mom- and there was a vm but i didn't listen to it--actually forgot about it til after we left walmart after work- went to buy some liquid creamer and yogurts for carla and a bag of starbucks! some other groceries- so--michael is driving and i just wanna get home- remembered my vm- so--it's carla- sick as a dog and turning around to go back home--poor baby---a bladder infection and raging fever and uckas.....glad she had sense to go home-hope "dr carl" takes good care of her --
so-we have a clean house and groceries ....
then-all day at work i have been worried about how my words in jeannie's post may have been misconstrued- i am NOT implying wls is the easy way-oh no!!!!!!!!!!i have read thru her thread and hope she takes all of what we have all said in the right context---it is no fun being sick-specially when you kow you have followed orders!
and i see our nan is in the hospital too--not good! and any word from jan c yet???
so--i'm gonna go cuddle with roxie and see how long my eyes stay open tonite!

Been a crazy day on my end, too. My brother's surgery is being rescheduled for next Tuesday; his apartment house/duplex might be sold (but right now, isn't ... inspection was canceled and buyers backed out). I'm waiting to see if I can change my vacation week. I think I can because there were a lot of people wanting the other week off, so I'm sure my new boss will be happy I'm not off also.
Sorry to hear about Carla.
