OT; changed user name
I used to be strobel108 but I needed to have a new user name. So, I deleted my old account and I am starting over.
I had my RNY Dec 22, 2008. We are really close in our dates. How have you done? I am 51 yrs old and the Dr told me that with my age I would not lose as much as the younger ones do. He said that he thought I would get to about 200 or just below and settle there. I am about 50 lbs less than that and I hope to lose more. I do exercise 5 days a week. I have seen the PA in the dr.'s office but I have not seen the dr since my surgery. I think he will be surprised,
Anyway, thanks for the reply. It is always nice to meet a fellow Sandy. The rose is a nice touch. I should add something too. Look for it in later posts, as soon as I think of something appropriate.

Hi Sandy..Thanks for the reply. I re-read my post and I typed 68 yrs. old.....NOT !! I'm 66 but will be 67 November 15th. You are just a young chick there girl ! Age is just a number. After losing 118 pounds I feel like I'm 40 again. I look retty danged good too. HAHA. I am 5'7" and guess considered a light weight only having to lose 100 pounds but I'm under goal and may keep on losing until my body says "STOP". I follow all the rules, take all my supplements and vitamins, etc. I walk between 2 and 3 or more miles each day unless there's inclement weather but I feel great and have so much energy now. My hair loss has stopped also and is getting thicker each day. Thank you GOD!!

If I may ask, where do you live? I live in Northwestern North Dakota, right on the Montana border to the west and to the north is Saskatechewan , Canada. I am retired, have 2 children, a son who will be 45 who lives here in our town and is a partner with my husband in a home improvement business and a daughter who is a radio personality (radio announcer) in Boise, Idaho. Just one grand daughter age 10 living here in Williston who we adore but have some step grandchildren in Boise also. I am retired having worked as a Medical Lab Tech for 25 years. I stay home now and help with the family business and also cook for the siding crew (3 of them) when their jobs are here in town. Good to hear from you "Miss Sandy"......hope to hear more from you in time to come..
