OMG WHERE IS EVERYONE THIS MORNING...FRIDAY
I have absolutely never started a daily "whats everyone doing and how is everyone today" thread. But here goes...
I'm up..its only 5:12, but I have a 7am class again this morning. This is the 3rd one this week and my student has been sick, so a no show for 2 days. However, I still have to show.
I'm feeling a little under the weather..allergies. The drs. office (I've been going there for 20 years) can't seem to find my new allergy serum. Finally found it yesterday in another office..but, I've been without my allergy shot for 2 full weeks now. Yikes...
Nothing too interesting going on this week end. I need R&R!!! I've been running around alot lately.

you done good gal!! thanks!!!! i was actually putting roxie out and getting some coffee- and i just tried a new flavor of yogurt--yoplait light thick n creamy cinnamon roll...oh my!!! delish!!!!!

i am so ready for the weekend already- feel like i'm wishin away my weeks but this one has been a bit of a bear somehow-the extra time at work is getting to me and still trying to recover from the time change-have to keep remembering that!!!
tonite we are driving up to erie michigan (just a teensy bit away not far) to look at a bird- Baby needs a new home and sucker michael thinks he can do it! she will be a gift but with the gift comes another cage to take space as well as to clean and another mouth to feed--don't get me started--her "mom" has made a very tuff decision and has chosen michael to be the new dad....she sounds like a beautiful girl with a wonderful spirit so we shall see....
i ache- i know i need to go to the chiro -but no ins!! so maybe i should get a massage? hmmmm...that sounds wonderful!!!! my stresses all sit in my neck and shoulders when it gets really bad and that's where everything is right now!!!

i feel the need to hit the thrift stores- i gave away most of my flannel jammies and gowns and now; with moving to mich, i feel the need for a nice already soft and worn flannel gown! i love floor length and cuddling up in them....may have to shop tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
sending hugs and prayers for all....nan and carla and jan c and jeannie and grammy lew for physical stufff...so many of us have emotional or job or family things goin on!take a minute today to say a thank you for this awesome family we have here on OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning all. Yes Margo, that Cinammon Bun yogurt is good. Mary doesn't like it. At least I know when it is in the fridge, it will always be there for me. LOL.
Well, I ended up having to do it yesterday. Cut 60 hours a week from payroll. Took one day a week away from everyone and two days from some. Explained to everyone, either we cut hours or we close the doors. It was an easy choice.
Got a call last night from a greyhound organization we deal with. They have an affectionate black greyhound, male. I explained we can not afford the $300 right now to adopt. Her answer was music to my ears. She said they had a lady who could not have dogs in her apartment who donated $300 and said to help someone who needs it to adopt a greyhound. God is wonderful!!! We will be checking the dog out soon. He was found in a ditch, with 2 dead dogs and has been nursed back to health. Very affectionate they tell me. That's what Mary wants. So we will get him soon and try him out. If it doesn't work out, they will take him back with no problems.
Hopefully by the next time I drop by we will have another canine friend in our house.

Decisions like yours are never easy...I'm sure the employees are glad its just hours that were cut and not their jobs.
Good luck with the dog..sounds wonderful...my house is full of cats. my kids were good at bringing home the strays..now they have left me to take care of them all.
