share????????

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

The problem is I don't measure when I'm experimenting but here is the basic recipe.....

1 can pumpkin (16 oz) - pure plain pumpkin no seasoning
1 carrot
1 small onion
About 4 cups of water....a little more or less depending on how thick you want it
a pinch of Allspice
Salt, Tumeric, Curry, Cummin, Cayenne pepper to taste.....(I might have used a 1/2 of tsp of each but less of the cayenne and more on the salt....I just do it till it tastes right to me)

First I cooked the onion with a little olive oil till clear.  Then add about a  1 1/2 cups water to pot.
Boil the carrot and KEEP THE WATER YOU BOILED THEM IN mash the carrot and onion with the blender stick.
Add the pumpkin and water.....stir....add spices....stir and bring to boil then reduce to simmer for about 20-30 mins.  Add more water or if it's too thick for you.

Note:  I would have used a can of fat free chicken broth but didn't have any in the house.  Next I'll try it with broth

SORRY it's so vague but I just don't measure.....
